That PCI controller card does not need a power cable. It draws the power it needs from the PCI slot into which it is inserted.

If you're talking about the lever on motherboard at back of slot you wont have to push it down to install the card. You simply press the card in firmly but gently. Most of the time, but not all the time, you will hear it click when it locks in. You only pull down on the lever when removing the card to unlock it. You don't have to plug any power connectors into the card as it gets its power from the PCI-ExpressX16 slot.

The USB 2.0 cable supplied with the iPod can be used to charge and sync the iPod. The cable can charge and sync when connected to a computer. The power adaptor is for charging the iPod through the SAME USB CABLE which is supplied with the iPod through a normal power outlet, this is useful if your USB ports are occupied or you are travelling without your computer.

Q:I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs.i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!

no sir it will not, infact it may completly stop the problem, i would say to much current is passing through the wire, if the amp will accept the wire (even if its a tight fit) thats what your looking for. so to answer your question using the 680 watt wiring kit is just what you need and will be perfect, you could even get the 1200 watt wiring kit if need be, (assumikng you bought the schosche kit from walmart)

Q:I am trying to hook up a LCD display (CPU Temp, USB's in use, Memory Temp/usage, etc) and It came with a 5pin DIN connector for what I assume is the power. I am not sure what I need to do to connect it to the PSU. Any help or ideas?

I think this device should have a power connector as well as a sensor cable (USB in use should have a connector running on to your motherboard.) can you provide me the make/mode number of the equipment. Also provide me with a link so that i could see the connectors and wires and the device. Else take a pic, upload it some image hosting site and provide with a link. Q:I have a hp laptop from south asia. The adapter connects with the laptop and the power cable. The power cable has a 3 round pin plug which says 6A 240V~. On the hp adapter for the input it says: 100-240V~ 1.6A 5-60Hz. It also says Connect Only to Grounded outlets.Now I am in canada. All i know is that here they have 120 V in normal power plugs. Also they have 1 round and 2 rectangular pins to plug in the outlet.I bought this adapter which basically connects the 3 round pin plug into the adapter and the adapter has 3 canadian pins. The thing is that it says 250V 10A on the adapter. So I am not sure if it will hurt my laptop if I use it. I am a bit confused because Canada has 120V and the adapter accepts 250V. The HP adapter has a range from 100-240V. Will this be ok to use since the HP adapter will just convert the 120V into the proper output for the laptop or do I need one the expensice Voltage converters for the laptop?

You need to get a power cable. If you do some research online maybe you can find the manufacturer of the turntable. It may be a common type cord or maybe not. If you e-mail me maybe I can help more.

It would have to be a combination of things that made it fray. Like, for example, being bent at an extreme angle while in use for long periods of time. Power cables get hot from normal use. The plastic insulation gets soft. If the power cable is laid in a comfortable position, if it is allowed to cool before being wrapped up, and there are no problems with the power adapter port on the laptop, a power adapter cable will last for the life of the laptop. Now, if you are using a Universal power brick, that is part of your problem. This laptop only requires a 65 watt adapter. Universal power adapters will push more juice to your laptop... up to 90 watts. This will cause the cables to get hotter. So, if you have not replaced it with a 19 volt 3.42amp brick specifically designed to work with your laptop... then you should do so. And feel free to buy one off OKorder. Same brick as what you get from Toshiba, for a fraction of the cost. end of line
