Thermal Insulation PVC Foam Sheet Soundproof & Waterproof

Q:Which flexible transparent plastic sheet is resistant to dichloromethane or Tetrahydrofuran?
Such a thing exists!? If it does, they should make disposable gloves out of that! I could use some in my lab...
Q:
Yes, plastic sheets can indeed be used for stage props. They are versatile, lightweight, and durable, making them suitable for creating various stage elements such as backdrops, set pieces, and even costume accessories. Additionally, plastic sheets can be easily cut, shaped, and painted to achieve the desired aesthetic, making them a popular choice among theater and production professionals.
Q:Under the temp. probe, and under the heater, obv. And these go under the liner, right? Electricity and water together = bad deal!So have I found the right answer?Bed is in chilly room in cold house, soft-sided with wooden frame. Will of course be using woolen, polyester, blankets on top, or maybe put the fake eiderdowns under bottom sheet and use the wool etc. over top sheet. Point is that bed will stay covered with warmth-keepers just about all the time.Am thinking of running the foil up along the side-walls. I intend to tape the sheets together into a complete large sheet.Had planned to use insulating rigid foam but decided was too much work to replace the home-made frame. Am hoping that the foil will reflect heat back into the water, not out into room.Furnace is forced-air, and electric bill in winter is Awful! IMO, at least.
I doubt aluminum foil has much, if any, R-value, but I'm not an HVAC guy. I do know that pink styrofoam doesn't have much R-value unless you go several inches thick. Maybe try surrounding the bed in about 6 of the styrofoam on all sides. Use HVAC foil tape to seal any seams. Then mask it all in something like tileboard.
Q:i need these answer for my assignment please help me answer these questions
Charcoal while while glowing becomes luminous object and emits light which has a frequency which is sensed by our eye as red . On the other hand, a ripe rambutan which is a non luminous object and opaque absorbs all light rays except some scattered light rays which are sensed by our eye as red . And hence it looks red. A plastic sheet which is also a non-luminous, but transparent object , allows only light rays that are sensed by our eye as red to pass through it and absorbs all other light rays . ========================
Q:
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for greenhouse siding. They are commonly used due to their affordability, durability, and ability to allow light transmission while retaining heat.
Q:Maybe 48in X 48in
Try a local art/craft store and look for clear acetate sheets. For larger pieces look in the phone book for plastic suppliers or similar. Most of them will sell to public. Home centers have clear acrylic but it may be thicker than what you need.
Q:We are in the process of building a roof over our concrete 10x10 patio. We have put 2 4x4's on the front two corners and the other edge without 4x4s is attached to the side of the house. We are using 2x6's along the length of it as support along the top and then will top with 1x4's before putting on the roof sheets of our choosing. Our neighbor that has helped us used white plastic looking sheets on his roof of the same design (I believe the brand is tuftex?). When we went into the store the other day I noticed Green Metal Sheets (Tin I believe)... the price difference isn't really an issue but I want it to be decent quality at the same time... any suggestions or comments on the pros and cons of each? Any other ideas? Thanks
Ever listen to raindrops on a tin roof? Its nicer than the pop sounds that plastic make. Tin can also be painted.
Q:
Yes, plastic sheets are typically resistant to moisture and humidity.
Q:Put some drops of water on a glass or plastic sheet. After evaporation we seesome white spots like dust over?
These are dissolved salts ( other impurities) that remain behind when the water evaporates.
Q:Are acrylic plastic sheets flexible and cuttable?
Yes and no. Acrylic is cuttable, depending on how easy is based on thickness. If you get up into 3/4 and up, can be a bit more tough but it is cuttable for sure. You can use table saws, jigsaws, router, etc.. just about anything. Now flexible not a whole bunch. It will bend but can snap pretty easy if you try to flex at a good angle. If you need something very flexible try Lexan (polycarbonate), you can flex it like crazy and its stronger then acrylic and can come in all sort of colors and transparent, plus can cut with jigsaw, table saw, etc.. Little more spendy though. Good luck and have fun!
