Q:If a crane fly loses a leg will he be okay? Is it painful for him or do they just 'release' them like a lizard can release it's tail?
Chances are, it won't be O.K. Some spiders can release their legs, but only if given fair warning (a gentle tug). If the crane fly lost his leg violently, he will probably die from the injury. Whether or not the injury kills him, he will, of course, be more vulnerable to predators. Not to be morbid or cold, because I really do love animals, and hate to see harm come even to the under appreciated invertebrates, but the Crane fly usually only lives a couple of days, so as long as he mated, his job on earth was finished anyway.
Q:Tower crane driver simulation exam which website?
This also needs to imitate exam? When you go to the training, the teacher will read the outline.
Q:But theres always someone who gets a prize everytime. Its so unfair!lol
I suck at them lol. I actually like Spongebob (yea thats right), and im not afraid to admit it. Down here in the deep blue sea! It aint 80s I know but its pretty good nonetheless... and no im horrible at those skill cranes so I feel for Squidward in the episode...
Q:where did the story originated from? how and why did it happened?
It's okorder /-- The fable that babies are brought by storks is from Ger. and Du. nursery stories, no doubt from the notion that storks nesting on one's roof meant good luck, often in the form of family happiness. Online Etymology Dictionary, 2001 Douglas Harper
Q:Do large semi-submersible crane vessels such as the SSCV Thialf propel themselves to work sites or are they carried on heavy-lift ships. I understand they have propulsion systems but the just seem so bulky, inefficient, and slow to move across oceans on their own.
Very large capacity crane vessels have propulsion machinery for manoeuvring when on station. The most modern designs of semi-submersible vessel use them to achieve 'dynamic positioning'. Older designs used the propulsion systems to assist when deploying the anchors in the correct pattern. The vessels are towed by tugs when making deep sea passages. First generation crane vessels had much smaller lifting capacities and were either constructed on conventional hulls or were converted from existing ships. These types were capable of making ocean passages using their own propelling machinery.
Q:What does "slewing up" and "under rotating" in the slewing form of a tower crane mean?
In short, when the tower rotates in the form of a tower, the tower is stationary (ie does not follow the rotation), and the form of the lower turn is the tower will rotate.
Q:If there are cranes by a small pond should there be fish?
Hmm... cranes don't normally eat fish. They eat mostly insects and the occasional frog or lizard. If there are herons or cormorants at this little lake of yours, then there's your sign fish are present. It won't take these birds long to search an area for fish. If there are no fish, the birds will move on fairly quick. If they're there every day, well... do what comes naturally.
Q:I am doing uni coursework to design an ergonomic layout for an operator cab for a tower crane and so I need to list the required operator controls. Thanks!
There are only two control levers that are on a tower crane. There is one on either side of the seat called joy sticks the right side joy stick controls the hoist cable to go up and down pushed forward to go down and pulled back to hoist up.The left has four functions it controls the swing of the crane and also the boom of the crane to control the swing you push the lever to the left to swing left and push the lever right to swing right. You pull the lever back to boom up and puh it forward to boom down.
Q:how do they make those tall cranes so TALL?
Here okorder
