Q:How would the environment, habitat, or ecosystem be affected if whooping cranes were extinct?
the whopoping crane is not a part of the food chain. Nothing would happen. 100 birds is not a pencil point in the data. We spend millions on this bird and it's lose would NOT be noticed by anyone. I'll bet not one person on this form has even seen one, can tell us what is food chain function is. A link to a post or wikpedia won't cut it either, I want the exact species that is in the chain both up and down and what the exact effect would be. Since no one can give a specific chapter and versus on the specifics and talk about genaerizations, IMHO, I'm correct. NOW If the question was about the loss of all Raptors in the world, there would be an upset. The Whooping crane in it's self is so small it's impact of lose is zero. I call BS on the poster that says she saw them in FL. NOT ONE SINGLE WEB site lists FL as it's home range. You could at least have gone to Wiki and gotten your facts right and answered my AP question, but you instead tried a red herring act to promote your bias. PS I've been to the AP and know all about them (clue tell us what I meant here and prove you are a player on this subject)
Q:What i am seeing is that people are using manual digging and buckets and manually cutting through steel! If they use cranes, it would be alot faster to get to those buried. I dont belive it is unsafe, if they are meticulous.
Firstly, it can be damnable hard to move cranes through rubble filled streets, even assuming if such things happen to be readily available. Secondly, as the mess beneath the rubble is bound to be unstable, moving stuff off from the top can cause collapses further down. That danger can be lessened by working more slowly and carefully. I dont belive it is unsafe, if they are meticulous. Your belief is all well and good, but is it based on actual experience?

Q:Hi friendsI need some sketches of automotive crane? In which site or web log I can find it?
I'm not sure what you mean by an automotive crane: a tow truck, a crane for lifting car engines, or a crane for lifting cars. Anyway, try google images. Search for automotive crane and see what it turns up.
Q:What is the load moment of a crane?
The load moment for a crane is a number measuring the weight of the load lifted times the distance between the mass and the centre of the crane's superstructure. For example, a 20 ton weight lifted at 5m away from the crane (in reality, right next to it!) gives us a load moment of 100 ton*m, the same as a 10 ton weight lifted 10m from the crane. Cranes can handle higher load moments closer to the crane, so really heavy lifts are always done from very close to the load.
Q:i have 5 tower cranes outside my window at different construction sites and they all position their cranes the same direction at the end of the day. is there a reason for this.
I would think it's wind-related. If they were all pointed differently, one would catch more wind and spin more. If they were close enough, this one may hit another. If they were all pointed the same, this would be less likely (although not guaranteed). They SHOULD be spaced apart sufficiently, though, so during operations there is no chance of hitting another. So, it's more likely because of something on the ground. Maybe at last drop off they were all pointing in the same direction?
Q:Ok, so I figured out that last step after watching an origami tutorial thing on youtube
It okorder / The animations on this site are good, showing what you have to do, without hands in the way.
Q:Do they have any symbolic-ness about them? any thing like that is good! THank you!
Cranes are considered sacred birds in many cultures. Volumes are written about their spiritual significance. Google Sacred Cranes.
