4. SZ water ring bare vacuum pump application

SZ series liquid ring type vacuum pump and compressor is used to suction or compress air and other gas that is non-corrosive, unsolvable in water and with no solid powder, so that vacuum and pressure can be obtained in the sealed container. However, small amount of liquid is allowed in the suctioned gas. The pump is widely used in several sectors such as mechanical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, sugar making and electronic industry.

Since the air compression is operated under the same temperature, it won′t easily lead to any danger, when the pump is suctioning or compressing any flammable or explosive gas. Therefore, the pump is widely used.

Q:I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?: modern cars r hard to work on..I used to do all my work but now have a guy... Q:I have a 2005 Impala and it has been acting funny. Some morning the heat takes about 20 minutes to start working. The air conditoner has not came on once. The gage also takes awhile to start working and when it does it goes pass the halfway mark.I even notice when im sitting at a red light, i can feel the engine shaking a little. Q:Can I put in fluid and drive to the Service Station or should I have it towed? The fluid flows out as fast as I put it in. Thanks!: If your water pump is blown you should have it towed to a mechanic that you prefer to do the work, because it will need replaced. Don't drive it there because the belt that runs the water pump also runs the pumps that allow your brakes and steering to operate. I just had this happen to me and did exactly that.

Q:I have a Honda Accord, and last week I replaced the Radiotor, due to a leak. This week the Water pump broke, it was making a ver loud noise and major leak, when I opened the rad, basically all the fluid was drained.Do you think the two are related? or do you think when the Rad was replaced it was not done properly which caused the water pump to break?Thanks.: The only way they are related is that they both have coolant circulating through them...frankly it is unlikely the replaced radiator had anything to do with it, but if you found the leaking radiator when the steam started curling up from under your hood, then it is possible that gave the water pump that extra reason to fail.. bable really.

Q:I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus and recently had the coolant drained (not quot;flushedquot;, as the mechanic wanted to charge $125 extra for that). Prior to that time I never had a single coolant leak, but since then, I've had the coolant leak out slowly over about a 2 week period of normal stop go traffic. Now the mechanic is saying the water pump is leaking, and that's going to be another $600+ more to fix (over 5 hrs of labor), which I really don't have the money for right now.So two questions.. 1) what could've happened to cause the water pump to suddenly start leaking only after the coolant was drained, when it was fine before that? and 2) should I try using a quot;Radiator Stop Leakproduct? I know people say they can plug up the whole radiator, but if that were the case 100% of the time, you'd think these products would've been made illegal a long time ago.SO realistically what are the chances of it doing more harm than good? I still plan on getting the water pump replaced, it'll just have to be awhile.: the pump will quickly wear out if its leaking, and on those stratus's the water pump is run on the timing belt, which makes it a long and expensive job to replace. I wouldn't use the stop leak, just carry around a few gallons of water and keep the coolant topped up. keep an eye on your temperature gauge while your driving.

Q:I have a 1995 Honda Civic LX 1.5L that needs the water pump and timing belt replaced. What all part do I need to order to replace all of that?: You need timming belt water pump and water pump silicon the tools for the jobs also. it is not a easy job to do just so you know. Make sure you have a chilton book for the info you need to make sure timming belt is put on right with the cam lined up.

Q:can a water pump pumping out air instead of water?: It depends on the type of pump.Some pumps can others will burn out. Carpet cleaner type suction will happily cope with both air and water,old fashioned hand operated lift pumps do as well. Bilge pumps etc do not like running dry and will have to be reprimed to suck water if the get an air lock.

Q:We have an electric sump pump. Battery pumps will only work for two or three days. I want a manual pump that will pump a lot of water. We cannot waterproof the basement because it costs over $10,000. Where can I find a manual pump? Carrying water out in buckets is too slow and exhausting. We carried 80 five gallon buckets out last time the electricity was off for a few hours.: what about a small gas genarator and an extenstion cord?
