1. Description of Rubber:

Natural rubber is a kind of polyisoprene as the main component of natural high molecular compound, its composition in 91% ~ 94% is the rubber hydrocarbon(polyisoprene), the protein, fatty acid, carbohydrate, ash and other non rubber substance. Natural rubber is the most widely used general rubber..

2. Main features of Oil Seal:

1) High Elasticity, According To The Formula, The Elastic Can Reach 80% Of The Maximum.

2) High Elongation, The Maximum Can Reach More Than 1000%.

3) The Elastic Modulus And The Shear Modulus Is Low, Than Some Rigid Substances Such As Iron And Steel And Other Low Much.

4) Cold Resistant, The Glass Transition Temperature Of Minus 72 Degrees

Q:My car is making a rattleing noise whenever I drive over a bump or anything that would cause the struts on the front end to work. Kind sounds lke something is loose with the suspension system, not sure what to look for, this started happening when I drove my car through the first snow storm this year.
Suspension/ braking systems are serious things to mess with. If you don't know what to look for you won't know if there is anything important wrong will you? Get it checked by someone who knows what they are looking at, for your own safety.
Q:I want to lift my truck six inches but my friend said it was not recommended, I also would like to know the recommended tire size for that size lift.
Just did one in my shop, depends on what your doing? assume 4x4 but if not its OK. The one I did was a 7 inch lift with 22inch rims and wide side Nobie tires. Truck stood and rode great 8 shocks with struts!! great suspension system we kinda made as we went on. Good luck
Q:I BOUGHT THE 2 AIR BAG SUSPENSION FOR MY 2000 BMW X5, HOW CAN I CHANGE IT?
Dude, even if you are only replacing what you think is a bad set of pneumatic springs (air bladder) I still would not recommend it since you could hurt yourself (aside from the mechanical hardships). I would suggest that you bring it to a real BMW shop who knows its business. And I hope that whoever diagnosed a bad air bladder was right in the diagnosis for both the dual and single axle self levelling suspension is a very complex system wherein problems can be due to a lot of single items or combination of items. And heaven forbid that you are trying to install pneumatic springs in a previously regular shock/coil type rear suspension. If so then you are hopelessly out of your league here.
Q:The suspension system of a 2100 kg automobile sags 12 cm when the chassis is placed on it. Also, the oscillation amplitude decreases by 54% each cycle. Estimate the values of (a) the spring constant k and (b) the damping constant b for the spring and shock absorber system of one wheel, assuming each wheel supports 525 kg.
For damped oscillations we have x A*e^((-b/2m)*t)*cos(ωd*t + Φ) Now using Hooke's Law k F/x m*g/x 525kg*9.8m/s^2/0.12m 4.29x10^4N/m The damping is 0.46 e^(-b/(2m*sqrt(k/m))) so b -ln(0.46)*2*525*sqrt(4.29x10^4/525) 7370 kg/s
Q:The Primary braking system in modern cars uses.a. a cable system b. air pressurec. a hydraulic systemd. a lever systemRack-and-pinion is a common type of a. suspension systemb. power assisted brake systemc. steering systemd. drive train
brakes are hydraulic rack and pinion is steering
Q:I have a 2001 Ford Ranger and want to convert it into a Baja truck (prerunner as some call it)I already know what long travel suspension I‘m going to buy and other parts that go with it. But I‘m having trouble choosing a rear suspension.I don‘t want to add a deaver pack because I want more travel and better stability. So anyone out there that knows about 3 Links and 4 Links; which is better? what are the pros and cons? For example: Camburg offers a 3 Link system. and Giant Motorsport has 4 Link kits. Which would be the best to go, unless someone knows of a better shop. Please and Thank you.
I agree test for power at the motor. These are very common to go bad on those trucks as I have done hundreds of them.
Q:the thing that confuses me is if it has a shell-like pot i thought the liner only came with the suspension system and sweatband if it does come with the pot-like shell, can it be used as a regular helmet?
The old M1 Helmet. 3 lbs to compress your neck at doubletime. The link will tell you everything you want to know and more. Alternative use of steel shellThe design of exterior metal led to some novel uses: When separated from the liner, the shell could be used as an entrenching tool, washbasin, bucket, seat, and, in desperate times, *********latrine. The shell was also used as a cooking pot but the practice was discouraged, as it would make the metal alloy brittle. I found a book written about the 2/317 based on the diary of a Mortar Platoon Leader. My Dad was in this Bn. so the day to day stuff gave me insight about Dad. The Lt wrote about taking a crap in the pot during several hours of inbound artillery.not an uncommon event in WWII. The funny part was 2 pages later he mentions cooking something in it.
Q:I have a 1991 Subaru Legacy 4wd wagon and my suspension is going wonky. I want to replace the current air suspension with a spring strut system. I want to know how much it costs and if this is a repair I can do on my own.
I'm a bit hazy on what you mean. My 92 Liberty (aus name, same car) had air/spring shocks like most other cars. I'm not sure how you can change it from one to the other. Either way, the suspension is very good already - the popularity of lift kits and off-road mods can attest for that. One of the first things we used to do was swap out the standard shocks for some beefier ones with King Springs. There was a range of options available for the sub-400 mark. As for doing it yourself, that depends on your competency and tools. If you have 4 car stands and some expertise you can swap it yourself, but it's an involved job. If you could tackle, for instance, changing a clutch, you could take on the job yourself.
Q:i bet on of my friends the other day that if someone put 18‘s on a cobalt they would have to lower the car? is this true or do u have any pictures so we can see. i‘ve seen 20‘s on a civic but i dont know about an cobalt
Depending on the tire profile you select, you may have to LIFT the car to attain sufficient wheel well clearance.
Q:what kind of upgrades can u put in a eclipse gs?(turbos, etc.)?
nos, head studs, turbo, better tires, exhaust, struts and springs, intake, or buy a Starion 1987-1989 come from the factory with a turbo and rear wheel drive. just bolt on a 16G turbo and take off the first cat converter located on the down pipe and you got a 300lb 320hp rear wheel drive car.
