- Q:i'd like to heat press som letters onto the back of my under armour. is this possible? if yea, are there any special precations to take take? will any store that heatpresses letters do it? thanks for the help
- Under Armour, Dri-Fit and other performance fabrics can be heat pressed, but they are not the same as a nylon or polyester jersey, and that is important to know when you put lettering on. Because Under Armour is made to stretch, you want lettering that can stretch with your shirt without peeling off, cracking or wrinkling. If you take your shirt to a shop for heat pressing, you'll want them to promise you that the material they're using is made for performance fabrics. Ask them if they have a sample you can touch and stretch for yourself. One heat-press material made for performance fabric is STAHLS' SuperFILM. Right now, it comes on a roll, not pre-cut lettering. But, if the shop has a vinyl cutter, they should be able to cut SuperFILM and do your name or design easily. Good luck!
- Q:a few days ago i was racking up weights on the leg press machine but my gym teacher stopped me and told me that the leg press is bad for the joints and introduced me to the dead liftso im wondering:is the leg press really bad for the joints? - Every hair stylist i've been to doesn't use any. Moisturize your hair before and after you press it. I just use simply gloss after i've blow dryed it. Then I apply more gloss after it done.

- Q:hello, im pressing a sunflower for my girlfriend, and i just got it, its just bigger than a CD rom, so its grown quite a bit, and i snipped the stem off, and it has this leafy backing, which wouldnt let me properly sandwich the petals, so i used a knife and cut some away, but the middle seeds started to come out a bit at the edges and some petals fall. BASICALLY i got most of it off and the flower intact and will arrange nice when its done. but should i have done somethign different ? like pluck all the petals ? and arrange after or what ? :o plz help me! i have never pressed anything that is a bit thick at the center before. !!!!many thanks if some1 can share their experience !!! + tips? :D
- I don't usually press sunflowers, I cut them when they are new opened and hang them up to dry. I haven't been able to press them either, but maybe you could arrange the petals the way you want them, cut out a couple layers of cardboard with holes the size of the thick part and then try pressing that way, the petals pressed but not the thick part? Would have to be careful that the thick part dried without going bad though. Good Luck.
