Product Description

sunpower flexible solar panel 20w for sale
Flexible solar panel are designed to provide a powerful charging solution for batteries and conform to almost any surface. Unlike other 'flexible' products, these use high-efficiency monocrystalline cells that produce more power per square foot than any other flexible panel on the market.
An impermeable lamination coats the entire module, allowing it to contour and flex against curved areas, eliminating any need for custom mounts.
The panel can be affixed by adhesive or screw mounting options and grommets are an added bonus for ease-of-installation. The thin, lightweight module can also be sewn into canvas, making it a truly versatile solar m odule.
The Solar Flex panels are aerodynamic and DURABLE - a virtually unbreakable solar battery charger for RVs, boats and long-haul trucks.

Q:Do you need to pay for electricity if you have solar panels?
No standard home can operate on solar panels alone unless there is about an acre or more of them. Plus, they require lots of batteries and complicated switching devices. And, they are very expensive, so rarely pay back their up front cost. Right now, more of a gimmick than a practical solution to power needs in the home. The house you're looking at may use it to power emergency lighting in case the grid went down. Or maybe a small fan to exhaust heat out of the attic. Who knows. Just have to ask.
Q:Solar Panel Wiring in SERIES?
If the panels are the same, there is no problem in putting them in series. If you examine the panels, they will be made up of about 36 identical cells in series. Ok, now you have 72 cells in series, fine if they are the same. You need (at a minimum) a diode in the line so that when it is dark, the panels do not draw current out the batteries (it wont be much but you might as well block it). You say the panels are rated 5 amps? Those are pretty good sized panels! Unless you have a charging regulator, I guarantee that they Will overcharge the batteries (unless the batteries are huge, like the size of a refrigerator). Did you maybe mean 5 watts? About a foot square? If so, the output is about 300mA (0.3 amps) which will not overcharge a battery as long as it is at least as large as a garden tractor battery. At a 300mA charge rate, it will take a longgg time to recharge.
Q:How do Solar Panels Work?

Q:Have a 40watt 20volt solar panel, how many watt of inverter do I need?
500 Watt Solar Panel
Q:how to make a solar panel?
In another building, workers weld solar cells together into strips, then align them by eye on a light box to form the rows and columns of cells that make up a complete solar panel.
Q:who would win in this battle?
hmmmmm trees would squash em and solar pannels would electric cute em............... :)
Q:Solar Panels in Abu Dhabi, UAE?
Abu Dhabi Solar plant Shams will be completed by the end of this year and will be ready to provide Abu Dhabi with power at commercial prices. Construction began during [the third quarter] of 200. The project's cost is $600 million (Dh2.2 billion) and with its completion, it will be the largest solar project in the world, Yousuf Al Ali, General Manager of Shams Power Company told Gulf News. Once completed, Shams will be one of the largest concentrated solar power [CSP] plants in the world, extending over an area of 2.5 square kilometres with a capacity of approximately 00MW and a solar field consisting of 768 parabolic trough collectors, Al Ali said. He added: Shams is a joint venture between Masdar (60 per cent), Total (20 per cent) and Abengoa (20 per cent). Q:Are DIY Solar panels legitimate for saving electricity?
I used this youtube video to help me build a 2 volt system. I used this video to build a magnet motor attached to a car alternator, I used an old Ford alternator because they are cheap, then put in the voltage reguialtor that I took out of the same car. I then hooked that up to 6 2 volt batteries in series, then I used 4 500 watt inverters, I got it going about 2 weeks ago, I am waiting to how efficient it will make everything, I also do not have my entire house on it. So far I have hooked up my fridge, deep freeze, 52 plasma tv, and washer. I have not hooked anything else into it yet. I have no idea if it has enough power to turn on full load, like I said I am still toying with it, but it seems to be doing fine.
Q:Solar panel?
That okorder.com/... it shows a graph and explains it better.
Q:How to install a solar panel system?
If you are grid-tied, then a standard solar electric system will always feed back into the grid if you are not utilizing more power in your home than is being generated by the solar panels and inverter system. It is possible that a grid isolation device designed to prevent direct back feeding is available, but haven't heard of one in common use. New laws in most areas of the US are now mandating that utilities allow grid-tied alternative energy systems. Double-check you local laws. Sometimes you can't take the utilities word for truth--most will automatically say 'no' and will only relent when you show up with the law in hand. Unfortunately, some utilities have figured out another way to shut down alternative energy pioneers--they demand multimillion dollar insurance policies covering damage that their equipment could sustain from your little PV system. Technically, they are still in compliance with the law, they just make it impossible for a homeowner to meet their requirements. If you are getting the runaround, go to your state representative for help. It's amazing how contrite those utility people can be when a state senator (or even US Senator) has just sent a letter asking them why they are stonewalling a law-abiding and well-meaning citizen. Good luck, and don't give up!
