Q:How do I become a real estate agent?
In many states you do not have to live in the state at all- but of course to succeed I think you should live in the exact area you want to do business in and become very familiar with the area. The schooling is just to pass the state test. The company you work for will help you learn how to succeed (or should help you).
Q:Colorado real estate vs. Missouri?
Real estate is more expensive, especially in places like downtown Denver and some mountain towns. Colorado Springs and suburbs are cheaper (and I read a few weeks ago that C. Springs has the fifth lowest cost of living of all the cities in the U.S. I was kind of surprised by that though.) So if you're looking for a lower cost of living in Colorado, I would recommend looking in the Colorado Springs area.
Q:would I earn more money as a real estate (residential) sales agent or as a commercial broker?
Commercial brokers I think earn more, at least they did in the past. But neither job is doing that well in this economy. I kind of think that currently you would do better in the residential sector of the real estate field. I see a LOT of commercial buildings sitting vacant. I live in Seattle and some developer put up a 'glass tower' like two years ago. It's sitting there absolutely vacant (about 40 stories tall). On the same note, developers threw up very many condos around here in downtown Seattle. I can look out my window and see them. Guess what? They are like 95% unoccupied. So-called 'zombie condos'. People are having trouble affording real estate in this recession. (I have a nice apartment across the street from these massive condo buildings. I never see any lights or TVs at night in them when I look out my window - that's why I know that those buildings are for the most part unoccupied). So, five years ago, real estate was kind of a booming business here in the USA, but the bubble burst. It's going to be awhile before it really comes back - I'd estimate ten years, if ever.
Q:19-year-old Real Estate Agent?
The first thing you have to find out is if you are of legal age to sign a contract. This varies from State to State. As for being a real estate agent, if you are legal to work, you simply pass the tests required and apply for a position like everyone else.
Q:How can i start working as a real estate agent?
You should google real estate agent license requirements followed by the state in which you would like to obtain the real estate license from. This site would give you all the local requirements. On this board most do not reside in the state in which you might want to get your license. Therefore you would be getting general information, not state specific for your state. #1 Get the necessary education to get your state license. A. An internet class would do just fine you are only trying to get your license. B. If you like to sit through a class then find a real estate school in your local area. C. Some real estate offices offer career real estate license school in their office D. Some states allow you to take the real estate broker test as long as you have a diploma from a recognized 4 year university or college. Check to see if you reside in one of these states. #2 Obtain the necessary continuing education to maintain and keep your license to sell real estate up to date. #3 Formalize the best marketing plan you can think of to maintain a high degree of referrals and a good customer base. The main thing you want to remember about making real estate your career is that you are working for yourself, so you are the one that have to motivate yourself each and every day. You want to become an expert in real estate not just a person that sell and list houses. There is a big difference. I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck. FIGHT ON
Q:buy, sale or rent houses. real estate class or not?
adequate, that is my PERSONAL opinion. right here is going: i could propose going for the bachelors. the revenue you have got now isn't terrible, however you might do SO MUCH BETTER with a 4 yr measure. and i am not announcing you must preserve schooling with masters or reputable reports- simply the bachelors measure. and you are going to be capable to avoid wasting up a lot more with the money you're making accordingly of your longer schooling. you are going to be capable to find the money for a good greater condo than you're on account that buying now. believe me- getting the bachelors is an high-quality notion.
Q:Real Estate Angent Questions?
Sure it's a good idea to get your license and you can even work as a home agent in the beginning. Many companies will let you hang your license at the office and work 95% from home. Just get good home office equipment with computer and internet access and you'll be good to go. If you look at Real Estate like you're starting your own business, and pursue it as such, you'll be in good shape. In the 1st several months consider working a 2nd job until the money comes in. Start a low-cost website and include the address on EVERY item you pass along. Start farming an area you want to get listings in immediately. Dropping flyers at 200 houses 2-3 days a week is good when starting out. Give your business card to everyone, and send out a intro letter by mail to everyone in your sphere of influence (all colleagues, friends, their friends, family, etc.).....even those out of state. If you work hard and excel in this market, imagine how well you'll do when it picks up! Good luck!
Q:Questions to ask a real estate agent...?
Q:Being A Real Estate Agent?
Not difficult at all. First you go to Real Estate Sales Agent School and if you pass the course and exam, you apply for your license to be a sales agent. Once you have your license, you go to several real estate offices and apply for a job as a sales agent. Once you have been a sales agent under the guidance of a Broker for 3 yrs, you can go back to Real Estate School and study to become a Broker. Once you have your Brokers license, you can open your own office anywhere you want.
Q:does anyone know how i can get more clients and referrals in real estate?
Building a referral-based clientele is a long-term strategy rather than a quick-fix tactic. If you're looking for near-term results (and what newer agent isn't?) you're better off developing clients through a traditional lead-development program that involves prospecting, conversion of expired and FSBO listings, and open houses.
