Q:I looking to get the whole Metal Gear collection. Besides the Original one for Nintendo which Metal Gear games will work on the PS3? Also I can't rember which one it is but which Metal Gear is it were Snake meets Otocon and Rex for the first time

Extracting a metal from a metal oxide IS reduction. Why? When it's part of an oxide, the metal has a charge (a metal oxide is an ionic compound). For instance, in MgO, Mg has a +2 charge and O has a -2 charge. In Al2O3, Al has a +3 charge and O is again -2. When the metal is extracted, it has NO charge. So if you extract Mg from MgO, Mg goes from a +2 charge to a 0 charge by gaining electrons ... that's reduction. At the same time, oxygen goes from a -2 to a 0 (the element O2 is formed) by giving up 2 electrons ... that's oxidation. In removing Al from Al2O3, Al goes from a +3 charge to a 0 charge. Again, that's reduction. Oxygen is again oxidized.

Q:For Viking Metal, I already have Turisas, Korpiklaani, The Sword, Tyr, and Wolfhorde.As for Pirate Metal, I have Swashbuckle and Alestorm.I'm not really looking for anything specific with the Viking Metal, but with the Pirate, I'd like bands that are more like Alestorm, or a little more rock/metal than Swashbuckle is.Please answer if you know any I may be interested in. All the stuff on the left of the periodic table except for hydrogen are metals: lithium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, etc. all the stuff on the far right are nonmetals: Carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur, etc. There should be a sort of bold jagged line going down the periodic table and elements on this line are semi-metals or metalloids: silicon, germanium, antimony, etc.

Q:Name your favorite sub-genres of metal and name a few bands from each sub-genre you mention as well. My favorites are thrash metal, metalcore, death metal, deathcore, technical death metal, melodic thrash metal, and melodic metalcore. I don't mind symphonic black metal either, although I have only heard one band (Abigail Williams) that I like so far.

Japan is just strange. It's their specialty. In my home country the metal heads (the musicians, especially) were burning churches back in the day. So no, metal isn't bad, some of the people in it can be bad if we want to be though. Don't blame the music, blame us. We're the ones who did it, after all.
