Q:How much to change a 1998 Honda Accord Water Pump?
This Site Might Help You. RE: How much to change a 1998 Honda Accord Water Pump? How much should I look for paying for my 1998 Honda Accord Water Pump?? With Labor and Materials?
Q:Chevy Malibu water pump?
When you can't see it on the engine. It is usually at the back of the timing quilt. Many engines are now hooked up that way. The timing belt also runs your water pump. And if you happen to must substitute the water pump. You are going to also replace the timing belt. Which is an efficient thought any method .Considering a 2001 may have many miles ,and nearly able for the belt to break. Leaving you stranded.
Q:5.7 mercruiser water pump?
i've always gone by the 30 second rule. even a NEW or emptied for winter motor that must completely fill, 30 seconds should be long enough. if it hasnt begun pumping by that point, i turn it off and give it some time to cool while i double check everything. then i might give it a full 45 seconds. but it wont overheat in less then a couple of minutes. and if its not pumping with the hose hooked up, the impeller is probably bad already anyways. however, if you do even get it near warm, its already hotter then you think it is where the heat is produced, the cylinders, and where you have tight clearances on fast moving parts, the cylinders and pistons. and if it gets too hot, major damage is quickly done. BTW, service period on a merc impeller is always 100 hours or 3 years. or NOW, before the motor is damaged, if unsure of when it was last done. when the impeller is less then $50 (and about an hour labor, if paying for it) and a new motor is THOUSANDS, you cant replace it too often. dennis, you have NO clue. i suggest getting one before you ruin the motor in your own boat. and in the meantime, keep your bad advice to yourself.
Q:What's so good about having a water pump on my stand alone ice maker?
How should the discharge hose be routed to the drain of the ice maker?
Q:What do you call this? A water pump?
A portable water pump. They come in a variety of sizes depending on your needs. A friend of mine runs a window cleaning service from the back of his truck. I don't know what size pump he has but I do know he also has a permanent water tank fitted as well as all the other fittings accoutrements for the job.
Q:Could my problem be with the water pump?

Q:Water pump bearing noise?
I continue to be amazed at the poor advice offered on this site. Water pump bearings are sealed and therefore not able to be lubricated. Please do not add oil to your cooling system as you will contaminate your cooling system. While it is true that spraying WD-40 on the pulley will quiet the noise IF IT WAS A BELT NOISE!! And yes it will effect the other pullies since this vehicle most likely has a serpentine belt. If you can, pull the serpentine belt off and spin each pulley to determine which one is making the noise. If it cannot be detected this way, use a long screwdriver or other piece of long, thin metal and place it close to each pulley. this will tell you which one it is. If it is the water pump, or alternator, it will most likely be safe to wait for a couple of days to get it serviced. I would keep the Mustang in the garage and send her in the Jeep. Just don't wait much longer to get it serviced.
Q:where is temperture sensor of water pump?
Water-pumps do not have temperature sensors. They're (temperature sensors) always located in the water-jacket of the hottest part of the engine which is the cylinder head. The water-pump coolant temperature is by far the coolest. It's located to the right of the alternator, a few inches facing forward screwed into the cylinder head. The little manual in the glove compartment will not explain where the coolant temperature sensor is.
Q:Could I replace a water pump myself?
Remove the timming belt.? no!! Its really an easy fix. You will have to remove you fan belts and the fan itself. Then walla! The next bolts to remove are the water pump bolts, once that is done, put in your NEW pump. Its really easy. I have fixed mine (in many diffrent cars) many times. A lot cheaper than going to a shop.
Q:Choosing a manual water pump?
Those are widely used where hand or bicycle or animal power is common. It meets all your criteria except pressure. Depending on how much pressure you want/need a stand pipe or elevated tank might meet that requirement. If pressure is necessary, then go with a Double Acting Piston Pump and filter the suction. I recommend a Graded Sand Bed over the suction. I designed public water supply pumping stations drawing from rivers for years. Filtering the suction is no big deal.
