Q:smoking out of a plastic bottle?
PLASTIC IS BAD! use glass, stone, metal, wood or organic but never plastic. Burning or heating plastic creates toxicor hazardous gases. Save yourself the hassle and just go buy a real glass blown one ($20 and up). Or do what we used to do when we were young and make pipes using aluminum cans, apples, potatoes, heck I even made a pipe out of a beer bum. Not water though. PLASTIC IS BAD!
Q:How can plastics be produced? On several ways?
Extrusion, also known as extrusion molding, is the use of extruders (extruders) to heat the resin continuously through the mold extrusion of the desired shape of the product. Extrusion is sometimes also used in the forming of thermosetting plastics and can be used in the moulding of foamed plastics. The advantage of extrusion is that it can extrude various shapes of products. The production efficiency is high, it can be automated and continuous production. The disadvantage is that thermosetting plastics can not be widely used in this process, and the size of products is prone to deviation.
Q:elasto plastic?
after you get past the elastic limit of a material you are in the plastic range. My guess is that the material you are working with has some sort of transition range. I would say cold working of the material could lead to reduced life. Remeber there is high cycle fatigue you experience over the elastic limit of stress and low cycle fatigue for few cycles at higher stresses.
Q:Plastic question.?
There appears to be nothing more than a statement here about plastics in your home... What is the question?
Q:What are the 6 most common plastics?
Thermo Plastics (soften when heated): Polyethylene, Polyvinyl chloride, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, Polyethylene terephalate, Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, Polymethyl methacrylate, Polyamide. Thermosetting Plastics (release heat as they harden): Polyurethane, Phenolic, Melamine-formaldehyde, Urea-formaldehyde, Polyester, Epoxy. There are the names of 14 plastics I could remember. I have no idea how to figure out which are the six most popular. Perhaps you should do a search on each one, with an additional parameter to narrow the search. For example, Polyethylene+ global-annual-production Don't use the quotation marks; no space before but one space after the plus; no spaces before or after the hyphen. Once you know the global annual production of each type, you could rank them in order and find the most popular types. Why do teachers ask such idiotic questions? They sound so easy, but finding the true facts is always nearly impossible. Why couldn't they just say, Name six common plastics. Oh well, it's your problem, not mine. Oops! Forgot the last part of the question. It is generally impossible to describe the appearance of a particular type of plastic. Their names refer to the chemical structure of their molecules and their appearance depends largely on techniques used during manufacture. Another idiotic teacher question, hopelessly vague and nearly impossible to answer. Again, it's your problem. Bye....................

Q:Plastic water bottles?
1) long before one resorts to recycling a product, one needs to consider not having the product at all. Using a re-usable (non-plastic) container means there is nothing to be recycled. Always consider the first 2 R's before resorting to the last R - in Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. 2) recycling plastic is better than not recycling, but still takes a lot of energy and thus should be avoided whenever possible. 3) *many* plastic bottles are not recycled and end up in either landfill sites, or become either land (gets buried by detritus) or marine pollution. I've seen numbers like 88% are not recycled. That addresses the general concept of plastic bottles. Then there is the BPA concern. This is a serious problem with leaching from plastic containers although this is much more of a problem with reusable water bottles and microwaved containers.
Q:Belly button ring with plastic center?
Yes its actually supposed to be better then metal piercings and the bioplast (thats what the plastic jewelry is called) is supposed to make it heal faster, minimize stealing and reduce chances of infection. so everyone who is saying no; shutup.
