Q:So my vehicle's amp recently stopped working. It worked great after I installed it about a year before, so after testing for shorts, burnt out fuses, etc, I decided that the amp had died on me. After getting a new one-and it not working either-I checked the voltage at the end of the power cable where it hooks onto the amp. I get a 12v reading when the ignition is off, but only a 4v reading when it is in the run or aux. position. The in line fuse is good, as well as the battery (just had it checked). Any ideas as to why this is happening? As of this posting, I have NOT tried running a new power cable yet, but that is the next step if nobody has an answer. Thanks.
sounds you have a loose ground connection.
Q:can you use just one power (positive) cable cut it and use the rest for your negative
Power cable and ground cable is the same thing, it conducts electricity exactly the same so you an use your scrap wire for a negative but i would reccomend it all be one piece so that you avoid ground loops and loose connections.
Q:I just bought a new power supply and it doesn't have the cables for my CD drives, how do I know when I buy a PSU if it will have all the cables I need? How do I know if its compatible with my motherb?
Do your research.
Q:in the system unit
One is to transmit data and the other to transmit power. Your head not working this morning or just trolling?
Q:I recently bought a Mackie CFX20 MKII and it came with a European 2 pin power cable but I need a UK 3 pin power cable. On the plug end of the cable it says (16A 250V~) but on the connector end of the same cable it says (10A 250V~) I have no idea what cable I need to buy for this so an answer to what I need or a link to what I need would be great.Thanks.
Be care full because a lot of european countries only have 240 volts. If you intend to use 110 make sure the mixer is switchable. If it is there will be a switch for the two different voltages. Some are made to work either way but the switch need to be in the proper position to avoid damage from either to much or not enough voltage. I work for a sound company and sometimes we get sent stuff wired for over seas. Some times it has to be exchanged because it isn't switchable. You need to contact Mackie and make sure you get the right cable. I'm sure they have a toll free number and web support. You may need to exchange the mixer.
Q:Power cable inspection, how many meters should be sampled?
in the wide-linked pricing software GBQ40 to achieve, directly enter the corresponding quota, click on the quota below the" standard conversion ", the cable laying five core check , You can achieve the fixed sub-sub-multiplied by the coefficient of 13 For example: YJ - cross-linked polyethylene insulation (insulation) V - PVC jacket (outer jacket) did not mark the conductor material that is the default copper wire, if the aluminum wire should be YJLV4 * 70 + 1 * 35 core (Mm ^ 2) + Neutral core (indicated by "1") × Neutral core cross section (mm ^ 2) CT - Indicates the cable tray in the laying mode
Q:I just bought a new video card and it requires a power supply and i have the cables but im lost on where to put them.
Ask okorder / They give you the answer in a video
Q:I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs..i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!
no sir it will not, infact it may completly stop the problem, i would say to much current is passing through the wire, if the amp will accept the wire (even if its a tight fit) thats what your looking for. so to answer your question using the 680 watt wiring kit is just what you need and will be perfect, you could even get the 1200 watt wiring kit if need be, (assumikng you bought the schosche kit from walmart)
Q:I have a case that mounts PSU on the bottom. I find that I have to twist the SATA power cables 180 degrees to connect to the hard drives. Any tips? I was thinking maybe mounting hard drives upside down.
Q:Due to the large spans the signal must travel it must be amplified or reconstructed at one point, taking into consideration that everything happens underwater, where does the box that reconstructs the signal get it's power.
we can harness the power of currents and tides to do so.(very large bouy type generators)
