It may not be the best solution, but you can check the voltage on your batteries. You can see how much is left in them. I believe a AAA battery is normally 1.5v and is dead when there are only 1.2v left. A voltage checker is a handy little tool. You can use it for any batteries you think might be dying. That way you know which ones to throw out, which ones to have replacements ready for, and which ones to save for later use.

nyco battery packs last about 3 to 4 hours without charging but you could just switch out remotes when the battery pack is low on one remote then you could just use a differrent remote while the the other charges and rechargeable batteries last 10 hours until they need to charge

I'm doing this right now with my Acer laptop! I think it's totally safe, it's better to keep your battery out so that it doesn't fry. If you keep the battery out but the charger in, this is still a source of power and is safe. I've kept my battery out since I've got it, cos I don't wanna ruin it, fry it or ruin the battery life or something. :)

not easily. if you have a variac, use it with a 6 amp diode in series. the cathode will go to the positive side of the battery pack. slowly turn up the variac til you get a reading of about 96 volts DC on a digital meter across the battery pack. quickly touch the diode case and see if it's very hot - if so turn the variac down. when the diode temp is at ambient, slowly increase the voltage by 1 or 2 volts at a time - checking the temp of the diode. proceed to increase the voltage to about 105 volts DC. another alternative is to get a 240 ohm resistor, at least 50 watts and connect the AC line in series with the 6 amp diode and the 240 ohm resistor. again watch the voltage - when the battery pack has about 105 volts DC across it, it should be almost fully charged.

You cannot for less than you can get a cordless drill set for. The cheapest thing you can do is get an extension cord.

the higher the longer it lasts. I recommend getting the microsoft brandI have had the best luck with those compared to the off brands

Q:I just bought the Rechargeable battery pack for xbox 360. I already had the Play and Charge Kit but it stopped working. I thought the the battery pack had died because it wouldn't charge. But when i plugged the charger into my xbox and into my controller, no light showed up. I don't know if the battery pack is already fully charged or if my charger is just screwed up.

o.k. your best bet is to figure out the draw or power used by the LED's 3 AA's put out 4.5 volts and if its a good alkaline battery it will have about 1300-3000 milliampere hours. what i would do is find my self a 9VDC adaptor wire in series a quarter watt resistor that would bring it down to 4.5 volts to figure this out you need to know how many amps it draws please feel free to contact me i can answer any other questions you may have
