Q:i got a camera about a month ago.i charged it till the green light went on and than it says to change the battery pack!!!! what does it mean??!!!!! what should i do??!!!

Q:I just got the Xbox elite today but i havent opened it yet because i have exams yh. I just want to know how the whole Xbox controller work do you have to put batteries in everytime it runs out and whats the average time a fully charged controller will last 4? My two older and younger brothers have PS3's and on theres u just plug a usb into the system and into the pad and it charges. What about the Xbox what happens when it runs out doesnt in come with like a controller charger like the PS3 where you just connect it and it charges? Or do you have to use two batteries each time it runs out?Whats the average time a fully charged Xbox Elite Controller lasts for? If u dnt have an exact value just an estimate like 2hrs or 16hrs on 3days etc. Thanks!

Q:i have a compaq presario laptop and i have used it for a year the problem is the plastic in the jack of the battery pack ( usually yellow in color) burned because of over heating and this caused the jack to be so loose that sometimes you need to place something underneath the jack like a book for it to work. and recently we bought a new laptop and i tried borrowing its charger because its the same as the 1st one. after an hour or so the jack of the new battery pack also burned and the small steel rod of my computer( wherein you insert the jack ) sticked inside the jack i dont know what to do.

With a serious electrical problem like that, take it to an authorized Compaq repair center. Keep in mind that some notebook manufacters (Dell, most notably) recently had major recall on battery packs due to overheating fire hazard issues.

Most likely no, due to insufficient capacity. What caused it to overheat? Using the wrong charger, or an electrical fault.

Q:I don't like to use the rechargable batteries for my digital camera because I don't have the time to constantly recharge. I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow and want to know if there are any standards for packing batteries in the checked luggage because I would think that they maybe aren't allowed in the carry-on -- don't know though.

Well, if you are coming from the USA, then the best I can suggest is to either declare your possession of the batteries at security checkpoint or to a TSA officer. I'm not sure if they will take them away, but you can call the TSA or the airline of course, and they will tell you.

There are two battery pack types for 360 controllers. The standard AA battery pack and the Plug-n-play pack. The battery pack takes AA batteries and lasts as long as you want them. The Plug-n-play pack includes a rechargeable battery and a charger.

Q:I have don it before but forgot how to find the bad one. I have a battery pack that will not charge. I hooked the charger to it and found one battery that I had continunity through it without droping any voltage I think it's the one.I want to take a battery out of another bad pack and replace it. Is there any way of checking them, ( individually) with a Multimeter, or do I need to check like I did the other?

I would never try to repair a battery pack. Just buy a new one.

You can build an adapter for practically anything. Whether the motor burns out depends on the battery you use, not the connector. They are two separate issues. If the motor is going to be burned out by the 11.1V 2200mAh 25C Li-Poly Battery Pack, then it will get burned out whether you use Deans or Tamiya connector. Having said that, the question is whether the Tamiya will be able to handle the current that the motor draws (without heating up and melting. That depends on a lot of factors, such as how much current the motor will draw, what kind of wires you are using, what kind of gears you are using, etc. Sometimes, that just requires trial and error.
