Solar Monocrystalline Series Panels

Solar panel refers either to a photovoltaic (PV) module, a solar hot water panel, or to a set of solar photovoltaic modules electrically connected and mounted on a supporting structure. A PV module is a packaged, connected assembly of solar cells. Solar panels can be used as a component of a larger photovoltaic system to generate and supply electricity in commercial and residential applications. Each module is rated by its DC output power under standard test conditions, and typically ranges from 100 to 320 watts. The efficiency of a module determines the area of a module given the same rated output – an 8% efficient 230 watt module will have twice the area of a 16% efficient 230 watt module. There are a few solar panels available that are exceeding 19% efficiency. A single solar module can produce only a limited amount of power; most installations contain multiple modules. A photovoltaic system typically includes a panel or an array of solar modules, an inverter, and sometimes a battery and/or solar tracker and interconnection wiring.

Solar modules use light energy (photons) from the sun to generate electricity through the photovoltaic effect. The majority of modules use wafer-based crystalline silicon cells or thin-film cells based on cadmium telluride or silicon. The structural (load carrying) member of a module can either be the top layer or the back layer. Cells must also be protected from mechanical damage and moisture. Most solar modules are rigid, but semi-flexible ones are available, based on thin-film cells.

Introduction of Solar Monocrystalline Series Panels

CNBM Solar photovoltaic (PV) Panel is designed for large electrical power requirements. It is the optimal choice for both on-grid and off-grid power systems. CNBM Solar panel offers high performance of power per square foot of solar array. Monocrystalline silicon(c-Si): often made using the Czochralski process. Single-crystal wafer cells tend to be expensive, and because they are cut from cylindrical ingots, do not completely cover a square solar cell module without a substantial waste of refined silicon. Hence most c-Si panels have uncovered gaps at the four corners of the cells.

Characteristics of Solar Monocrystalline Series Panels

I Solar Cell : High efficiency crystalline solar cell. Even if under the weak light, the solar module can produce maximum power output.

II Tempered glass (toughened glass): Anti-reflecting coating and high transmission rate glass increase the power output and mechanical strength of solar module.

III EVA and TPT: Using high quality EVA and TPT to prevent destroying and water.

IV AI frame: Without screw, corner connection. 6 holes on the frame can be installed easily.

V Junction box: Multi function junction box with water proof.

VI Long lifetime: ≥25 years; Less power decrease

VII Good performance of preventing from atrocious weather such as wind and hails.

Q:Are solar panels efficiency already calculated in their power rate?
If it says STC or Standard Test Conditions on the nameplate or documentation, then that means 80 watts under bright sun at an unrealistically cool temperature. It is rare to see that power in real life, except when the perfect storm of conditions come together. There is also a PTC rating for some panels, which is more realistic. If the panel does not say STC or PTC, the manufacturer is free to make up whatever test they feel like, which generally leads to ridiculously overstated power. As for efficiency, for residential panels, that's generally only of academic interest. A 80-watt panel is 80 watts, regardless of the efficiency. A more efficient panel will take up slightly less space, but most people are more interested in the total price, since roof space is generally not an issue.
Q:who knows about tax credits for solar panels?
If you buy NEW solar panels, there is a credit. see the 040 icon at www.okorder.com
Q:how to make a solar panel without any kit?
There are 2 kinds of solar cell/panel. Electrical and thermal. Passive thermal is the easiest. It can be made with clear glass bottles or jars. The bottles or jars must first be cleaned and sterilized to prevent the growth of algae or bacteria. Fill these about 90% full with water that has tsp of chlorine bleach per gallon. Put the caps or lids on tight. Seal with hot melt or other waterproof glue like RTV silicone. Arrange these in an array. You can use cement or just build a wood frame. Even simpler is just to put the bottles on a board or window sill. Place this in a sunny spot. The water will be heated by the solar radiation and will stay warm several hours after the sun is no longer shining on them. A an active thermal cell is different. For this you need a medium to heat. Silicon oil is often used but your could just use water. You need a collector, reservoir, heat sink, and circulating pump. These must be arranged in a manner so that the medium (water) is pumped to the collector where it is heated. It passes through the heat sink to transfer the heat and then returns to the reservoir. To make an electrical panel you can buy components. Photovoltaic cells and the components to mount them, wire them and then change the current generated into a type and voltage you can use.
Q:How many Solar Panels for my Pool?
I don't think heating a 70,000 gallon pool with solar panels is practical. My husband has designed and built our solar hot water system. It works quite well. We live in Arizona. There's no way we could heat that much water using sun energy. You have to heat the water and compete with the outside air.
Q:What would happen if a car ran over a solar panel?
Even running over one with a mountain bike will break the pannel. Now depending on how you run it over it might still produce power. If the circut is unbroken then what ever cells were not shattered and severed will work but most likely at a lesser capacity.
Q:Solar Panel: Watts, Amps, Volts? mA?
mA means milliamps, i.e. 200 mA is the same thing as .2 amps. Amps refers to current and is the unit of measure for electrical current... Anyway, my point is, you are NOT going to be running ANY small appliance with a single solar cell. You might be able to run a small device that would normally run with a battery, but that is about all.
Q:Pls is it ok to connect a 0watt and 20watt solar panel together into a charge controller port?
You should specify the controller ratings first. Otherwise it is not possible to answer your question.
Q:Need Large solar panels. ?
I think you may be surprised how much energy a little cafe like that uses. Since the air conditioning, refrigerators, and other appliances are going nonstop, I'd expect the energy usage to be several times that of a normal house. If you have access to the electric bills of the cafe while it was in operation, look up the kWh's used per month. For scale, I will say that our house uses 500 kWh per month, and needs 3 kW of panels to keep up with that. Scale up to match the restaurant, as a ballpark estimate. If you don't have access to the electric bills, then go visit a similar cafe in town, or a nearby town, and ask them how much their electric bill is. If the ballpark estimate still looks doable to you, then contact a professional solar installer to get an accurate, no-obligation estimate. Most likely, the cafe will use gas heat for cooking. But if not, electricity from solar panels is probably the most inefficient way to cook. Consider having solar ovens for most of the cooking, if you have land, with gas as a backup on cloudy days.
Q:how effective & efficient are home made solar panels?
Building your own panels can be an interesting experiment, but if you are looking for solar panels to provide significant, consistent output, you should buy factory made ones. I get lots of calls from people who built their own panels and get a fraction of the advertised output from them. Plus, factory built panels will last 40 - 50 years, with a 25 year warranty, how sure are you that you can build something that can withstand the outdoors for that long? The price of panels has dropped a lot this year, plus with rebates and tax credits, it's getting more affordable.
Q:How to make a solar panel at home?
The first thing to understand is that there is nothing complex about a solar panel. It is nothing more than a collection of solar or PV cells on a board that is fitted to the most appropriate part of your home, generally on the roof. There are guides out there that teach you how to build a solar panel and a windmill for just $50, and it’s very easy to make. Best of all, you can save 70% or more on your energy bill, adding up to thousands of dollars each year in savings. I reviewed both free guides and paid guides and have come up with our top to Build your own solar panels.
