Q:Carpet Squares?
If you entirely cover the floor with carpet squares, you shouldn't have to connect them, they should stay in place by them-self, as long as they are snug. If you like you could staple the corners of the squares to keep them in place. It you have a Restore, Habitat For Humanity store you might be able to get them there and it would cheaper than buying new ones. Otherwise you could try Home Depot or a carpet store.
Q:That rug really ties the room together...?
those are the colors in my living room. I bought a really cool rug in Victorian red. It dosnt shout. but gives the room unique style. and it is aw some! red would warm of the room also without being over powering ! Good luck i am decorataing also!
Q:What to do with my new area rug......?
Spray the rug with a static protector spray from time to time .
Q:How to prevent the carpet from shedding wool?
shedding wool is inevitable, you can buy a new one or stick the wool with scotch tape.
Q:How many types of horse rugs?
Is he coming with any rugs? See what he has before making any purchases. In terms of types, it depends on whether he is going to be field kept, stable kept, on a combined system and if he will be clipped in the winter. It also depends on the individual - some horses feel the cold more than others. It also depends on the storage space you have at the yard. My Connemara is on a combined system (in at night, out during the day) and has a hunter clip in the winter. These are the types of rugs he has: -Lightweight turnout -Middleweight turnout -Heavyweight turnout -Detachable neck cover for turnout rugs -Fly rug -Fleece coolers (we have a few of these as we like to keep one worn and the others clean for after bathing him when we are going competing) -Lightweight stable rug -Middleweight stable rug -Heavyweight stable rug -Duvet-type under rug -Summer sheet In the winter we layer rugs depending on the weather and the clip he has - he often starts with a blanket clip and once that starts to grow out, he has a hunter clip and requires more or different rugs. Rugs that are clean and not currently in use are left in the bags the cleaning lady put them in (we send rugs off to be cleaned a couple of times a year) and are stored in a wardrobe in a container provided by the yard we're on so they stay clean and dry. The rugs we currently use (fly rug, summer sheet, fleece, LW T/O) are hanging on racks in his stable - it may be summer, but the weather has no idea what to do so he is occasionally wearing a summer sheet or fleece at night. As for brands, it's trial and error. Our turnout rugs are Amigo and are about 12 years old and in excellent condition; our fly rug, under rug, summer sheet and one of the fleeces are Masta (again quite old - fly rug on its last legs though!); and his stable rugs all came with him. He did have two turnouts that came with him, but they got torn in the field - we tried patching them up, but they eventually died on us.
Q:How can I clean my area rug?
If it fits in your kitchen sink or the bath tub, ,Then put it in a little at a time, Start by wetting the first part of it, and using a scrubbing brush, and brush it brush it up and across, clean the brush of all the hair. and proceed to put the next part of it in the sink, and continue, this procedure . Once you have done the whole rug,Now use dawn or any detergent to clean it, Roll it up and stand it up to let the water drain from it. Then hang it out or put it in the dryer. When dry take a piece of large tape and go over the rug to remove any hair that is left.
Q:puked on the carpet?
it won't cause mould to occur so long as you gently go over the stain with warm water and a bit of washing powder, not with any foam or mousse as they will bleach your carpets(they really do bleach).after that,go over it again with just warm water and soak out moisture with a towel or tissue paper.when completely dry, lightly sprinkle talcum powder over it to keep away any smells.don't hoover it off, just let it get walked into the carpet and hoover it the day after.
Q:when do you have to rug and urug horses?
A okorder.com/ The higher the denier the tougher the rug. 600 denier will tear easier and be less water proof then a 1200 plus denier rug. I have the last one shown (Defender) is a great rug for really cold frosty winters. Tough denier and no neck rug attached, which I prefer for my horses that are not in much work. In spring I then switch it for a lighter rug, which they usually wear for a month or so before I leave it off completely. But please remember, even if you switch to a lighter rug, it will still need to come off each morning if it is warm and during their heavy moulting in the first month of spring.
Q:How can I clean the tea juice on the carpet?
Dry foam cleaning (for wool carpets)The use of equipment, tools: single disk wiping brush the carpet and playing with bubble machine, comb or rake carpet, vacuum cleaner.Use agent: carpet, high foaming cleanser.Operation method:1, vacuum cleaner with a vacuum cleaner2, local treatment, that is, with a dedicated cleaning agent in the carpet above oil, fruit, coffee stains separately3, dilute carpet foam cleaning agent, inject Dapao box4. Handle the edges, corners, and machines of the carpet with hand brush5, with a playing device, carpet brush sweeping single disc machine, dry foam carpet brushing6, act for a while, then repeat7, comb or rake carpet carpet comb cilia, which is very important for carpet appearance, especially long fiber cotton carpets, carpet and accelerate the drying effect8. Let the carpet completely dry9. Remove dirt and dry foam with a vacuum cleaner.
Q:What is the difference between an area rug and an accent rug?
an area rug would be more to cover an area and the accent just adds to the looks..
