Q:Why cement, red brick, steel bars in the second half of these building materials will be relative to the first half prices
First, the first half of the year in the rainy season, is not conducive to the construction, and most of the first half of the busy production, construction will be less; secondly, the summer power for the Gonggong grubs seaweed cut Wei public should be tense will also adversely affect the production of building materials
Q:What are the types of portland cement?
their aren't any types, cement is cement. what your going to use it for determines what additives you mix in with it.
Q:I have rubber cement. I also have a pen. my pen has no grip. it is always very slippery. I want to make a slim grip for it. I want to use rubber like material. I thought about rubber cement. When it dries, does it feel very rubbery, or like hard plastic, or will it be so rubbery that it will crumble when touched? I would like to know what rubber cement feels like when it is dry. No stupid answers please
wrap some rubber bands around the pen
Q:We had a friend of my husbands put the cement on the stairs and it looks awful. He insists it only needs one more coat of concrete. I think we should have built frames and poured in the concrete. The concrete is chipping on the edges of the stairs. Help please.
i agree with you,to build a proper set of stairs or stoop, you much form out then pour with redi-mix.good luck
Q:is there any alternative material for cement?
in okorder / for more information on house building and decor
Q:Why does the cement tanker have a distinct shape?
Tankers for shipping dry cement on roadways are basically hoppers on wheels. Their shape reflects the desire to empty the tank purely under the influence of gravity. I suspect the slope of the ends is just steep enough to ensure clean, complete dumping.
Q:and what is their #Basically, in out rental house, it looks like the guy dumped a bucket of motor oil on the garage floor and then used the oil to paint a section of the floor. And his car dripped everywhere on the other half of the garage. So now the while garage has drips of oil everywhere and looks kind of like the black parts of this freeway. And to make matters worse, it is totally soaked in to the cement.
if you want to clean it your self youneed to sprinkel tide soap all over the oil areas when it starts soaking the oil in the soap take a plactic brush and brush the soap around till the soap is dark then sweep it off and do the same process only with the soap a little wet with water kinda pasty with the plactic brush then rinse with a hose if possable when it is dry the oil will be gone, hope this helps.
Q:stop dog from pooping in backyard cement walkway where kids come and go we try to show him where theres a corner of dirt by our trash cans , he went there once only
let your dog know that pooping on the cement is a bad/ unwanted behavior tell them no! when they do it ( strictly but not to harsh), when it is potty time encourage them to go where you want them to by putting them over there( at potty time) and if or when they try to go somewhere else put them back where you want them to go ( you may have to do this many times before they get the message) and if they go reward them by talking in a happy voice and say good girl/ boy 'dogs name'! and keep doing that until they start do do it on their own. my dad taught our dog coco to go in the garden this way.
Q:I am working in concrete fieled practice and i would like to know more about the cement and microsilica, that is my concern.
Cement is made by heating limestone [CaCO3] with small quantities of other materials (such as clay) to 1450°C in a kiln, in a process known as calcination. The resulting hard substance [CaO], called 'clinker', is then ground with a small amount of gypsum [MgSO4.2H2O] into a powder to make 'Ordinary Portland Cement', the most commonly used type of cement (often referred to as OPC). Portland cement is a basic ingredient of concrete, mortar and most non-speciality grout. The most common use for Portland cement is in the production of concrete. Concrete is a composite material consisting of aggregate (gravel and sand [impure SiO2]), cement, and water. As a construction material, concrete can be cast in almost any shape desired, and once hardened, can become a structural (load bearing) element. Concrete consists of highly insoluble calcium silicates (CaO+ SiO2 -> CaSiO3). Now silica is pure SiO2 and so finely grounding it and putting into the concrete mixture instead of more coarse sand almost certainly results in a better product with better mixing and hence a stronger cement. This is an educated (I hope!) guess by an inorganic chemist. Cheers, dr p
Q:if a ball was dropped on cement and an identical ball was dropped on stretchy rubber, which scenario would result in the most force acting on the ball?
impulse = change in momentum F delta(t) = m delta(v) dropped on cement the ball would essentially lose all its momentum and the time (t) would be very short so F would be high dropped on rubber assuming a good bounce back the change in momentum would be greater because the result would be going back up at some v so impulse is greater but time would also be longer and we would have to know the time it took to bounce on the rubber and the time it took to stop on the cement to make a comparison of forces generally speaking we might reasonably expect the rubber landing to involve less force because we can imagine the difference between jumping from a height onto concrete versus jumping onto a trampoline I would anticipate that the time of contact on the trampoline would be many, many times greater than the time it would take to stop when hitting the concrete. If someone gives you a good response, please consider giving a best answer. This is the only reward we get.
We have kept the development philosophy of technological innovation, covering production, R&D, sales and management. we are boosting the extension of industrial chain in an all-round way, give full play to science and technology, and aim to become stronger in biological industry and fine chemicals in 5-year time.
