Q:Each of the fallowing is an example of an inorganic compound except one? A)water. B) bases). E)enzymes. D)salt?
anything which contain carbon is organic. so enzyme is the odd one out.
Q:What is the most important inorganic salt in plant growth?
The inorganic salts required by plants are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium containing inorganic salts, and if any lack of plants will affect the normal growth of plants, nitrogen is a component of many important organic compounds in the body, such as protein, nucleic acid, chlorophyll , Enzymes, vitamins, alkaloids and some hormones contain nitrogen. Nitrogen is also the basis of genetic material in all organisms, the most important protein, it is often in the center of metabolic activity. Now is to limit the growth of plants and the formation of the primary Factor. It also has a significant effect on improving the quality of the product.K2 is dissolved in the plant juice, and its main function is related to the metabolism of the plant. The content of phosphorus in the plant is second only to nitrogen and potassium, Phosphorus plays an important role in plant nutrition. Almost all important organic compounds in plants contain phosphorus. Phosphorus is involved in photosynthesis, respiration, energy storage and delivery, cell division, cell enlargement and other processes in plants.
Q:Can you die breathing in salt?
The boiling point of salt is incredibly high. Like thousands of degrees Celsius high. If you can actually manage to boil salt I would not recommend inhaling it.
Q:What are the disadvantages of inorganic salt deficiency and too much
The role of inorganic salts in plant life Plants require the most inorganic salts to be nitrogen-containing, phosphorus-containing and potassium-containing inorganic salts. These three types of inorganic salts have different effects in plant life. Lack of performance nitrogen: to promote cell division and growth, so that leaves grow lush. Lack of performance: plant thin and thin, leaves yellow, severe leaves were light brown. P: Promote the development of seedlings and the opening of flowers so that the fruit and seed are mature early. Lack of performance: the plant is particularly short, leaves were green, and purple. Potassium: Stable stem to promote starch formation. Lack of performance: stems weak, easy to lodging, leaves the edge and the tip was brown, and gradually dry. In addition to these three types of inorganic salts, plants also require many types of inorganic salts. Among them, the demand for some inorganic salts is very small, but they are in the life of the plant also plays a very important role. For example, the lack of iron-containing inorganic salts, fruit trees will be yellow leaf disease; lack of boron-containing inorganic salts, rape will be "spent" (only flowering fruit)
Q:are acids, bases, salts and oxides belong to inorganic compound?
I think organic compunds are anything with Carbon(C), although I really don't know.
Q:what percent of dissolved salts found in seawater are minor inorganic salts, or trace?
Seawater varies in composition a little but generally is about 3.5% salts. Of this about 3.1% is sodium chloride. So the remaining 0.4% is the other salts (Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium mostly, followed by just about every natural element in the periodic table in trace amounts)
Q:Minor inorganic salts are needed for these functions.?
its not a so try b or c those 2 are the most likely to be the right answers
Q:Is the inorganic salt the same as the saline?
Inorganic salts are inorganic compounds in the tears, originally called minerals. A large number of elements are calcium Ca, phosphorus P, potassium Ka, sulfur S, sodium Na, chlorine Cl, magnesium Mg, trace elements iron, zinc, selenium, molybdenum, fluorine , Chromium, cobalt, iodine and the like.
Q:Sodiumcorbonate is inorganic salt , why it is not organic substance even it contains carbon?
Organic molecules have carbon to carbon bonds. EDIT: I wonder why I got a thumb down for stating the definition of an organic molecule? Yahoo answers is a weird place. If there's only one carbon atom in a molecule its not an organic molecule, because there can be no C-C bonds...
Q:Anyone familiar with GC? Is it safe to put an alcohol + inorganic salt water mix into a GC?
Do not let salts enter the GC. You will have to perform an extraction step and run that. Salts can precipitate in the column or degrade into reactive species that can corrode the GC. Water is OK since it will not destroy the column (I've run aqueous solutions before), but salts are not.
