Q:best glue for plastics?
I okorder.com/ ...
Q:Is there any difference between bioplastic and biodegradable plastic?
Plastic material is one which has the property of plasticity.Bio means means life or which is organic in nature and which can be produced from a living organism for which it do not have the property of plasticity. Plastic materials can only be synthesised .but can not be produced through a living organism. So the term bioplastic is a misnomer.
Q:Does Plastic packaging affect your decision to buy at the grocery?
I really don't care if the packaging is plastic or paper. I threw all of them into the recycling bin. Almost everything I bought are recyclable. Oh by the way, the reason they have plastic lining inside the soda can is because they don't want the metal oxidation to sips into the drink. Would taste very bad without the lining.
Q:How to dye / recolor plastic pearls?
If okorder.com/ ... and not plastic.
Q:Plastic cuvet and quartz cuvet?
Plastic cuvettes are cheaper than quartz, for one! Did they mix the fluorescent dye in the plastic, too? I'd have to see what they were measuring, but you do know that plastic adsorbs certain materials that quartz will not. Perhaps there was some fraction of the saliva solution that they did not want transferred over. When doing antibody research, we routinely used plasticware to make the antigens stick to the plastic. That is a possible explanation.
Q:is a plastic cage ok for rats?
I'm guessing you are the person who just emailed me with the same question, but I'll post my answer here as well so other people may benefit. A plastic cage is generally not a good idea. They can chew it and escape, and they are also often too small as they are made for hamsters, and since they are not very well ventilated it can cause the ammonia from the rat's urine to build up and cause respiratory problems. A rat needs at least 2 cubic feet of space, so the cage should be at least that large. If your rat has tiny babies, though, she will be fine in a plastic cage for now, but once the babies are 4-5 weeks old you can move her into a larger wire cage if the bar spacing is narrow enough.
Q:Plastics??
Fillers - Generally an inert substance added to the plastic to make it cheaper. The addition of filler generally reduces the properties of the final article. The amount is dependant on the properties on the end product and cost required. Binders - Generally a resin to hold a substance together, ie the plastic in paint (the resin) is added to the other ingredients to hold them together (ie pigments colouring etc) (this is amongst other reasons. Plasticisers - Added to either help in forming a continuous film, such as in paint (normally called a coalescent) or to help the plastic become more flexible. There are many measurements required. It will largely depend on the application. Some are flexibility, hardness, colour, impact resistance, UV resistance, abrasive resistance, clarity, strength, elasticity, strength, etc Another area were measurements are required are in the manufacturing area. Some of these are viscosity, temperature, gloss, dry time, water content etc. Other additives briefly Pigment for colour Solvent for application purposes Waxes to allow processing Etc This is a very large question if you need anything more specific let me know
Q:Cardboard or Plastic?
I usually use plastic, but I'll use cardboard if it has that Silk film on it and has a rounded tip. As for the kind, it depends on my budget that month, sometimes store brand, sometimes kotex, always..doesn't matter too much as long as I have something.
Q:Plastic plants from dollar tree?
Plastic plants from Dollar Tree (not any other store, specifically Dollar Tree)... Um, there's one in my area and I've never seen any aquarium plants or anything similar there. If the one in your area stocks them, then they're safe to use (so long as you wash them first, to get the residue from chemical baths off them, this with all things, of course). If they aren't specifically made for it, if you can find out, make sure they're BPA tree, and wash them before use. Make sure they won't get caught in the filter if you use one, and if not, make sure there are no parts that can easily come off or can be bitten through, and clean it as thoroughly as you do the rest of the tank. :-)
Q:Plastic injection machine?
