1.Application

DDSY866 Single-phase Electronic Prepaid Watt-hour Meter is intelligent all-electronic watt-hour meter

produced by our company with the latest microelectronic technology. With IC card as electricity purchase media supported by computer management automation software and hardware technology of electricity charge, it has a variety of functions as energy metering, electricity cost management, load control, collection of electricity use information, etc. At the same time, it realizes power management system of purchase before use, making energy commercialization come true. Moreover, the watt-hour meter is equipped with RS485 and IR infrared full-automatic centralized meter-reading interface, providing a more favorable approach for instant collection of electricity consumption of user prepaid meter. This meter applies to three-phase AC active energy with a measured rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.This meter applies to the fixed installation indoors with an environment temperature no higher than -30--+85℃ and relative humidity no higher than 85%, and no corrosive gas, dust, sand, fungi or insect in the air

Q:Before anyone blindly answers this, I'd like to first request that only people in the power transmission industry answer, as they are the only ones likely to know.I have a customer who is asking to mount several very large pieces of electrical equipment 15 feet in the air, mounted to a large structure. All of these equipment pieces are 5000 or more pounds and pad-mount by design. I am questioning this request on the basis of legality. Basically, I am curious to know, is there anything in the NEC that says mounting pad-mount equipment overhead is illegal? If so, I could really use a hint as to what section of the NEC code.
I don't believe that there is anything in the NEC that addresses this. Obviously, installing anything on a structure presents challenges that require the attention of a qualified structural engineer. And depending on the location, you could be facing some additional concerns. You would need to check on seismic activity in the area, and since 'pad mount' equipment has a broad profile, wind-loading could be more challenging if you have a wind-force specification to meet. The other issue you would need to consider is whether installation on a structure presents any particular safety concerns. Without knowing any more, my inclination would be to think that you might want to provide an enclosure around the structure to prevent civilians (rmeaning 'teenagers and drunk college students) from climbing it. Just out of curiosity - why does your client want this? We know that the client is always right - even when he insists to stupid things. I trust there is a good reason for asking for something that is bound to increase installation cost by probably 100%.
Q:Can electrical equipments draw currents or they allow too flow current through them?
The same thing.
Q:charges, what other taxes, charges etc am i obliged to pay to stay within the law??
Thats a reflect of the IO interface. Same with me too
Q:Hi i'm 13 years old and i'm always getting tired. for example every day i come home from school i go straight to sleep and i don't know why . This dident always happen till i got to 6th grade. And when i'm at my friends i get so tired and want to go to sleep but i don't know why either ? Please help me and tell me hy im getting so tired and sleepy now and days ?
You may be starting puberty, and that would make this normal.
Q:how is this possible?
Not an absolutely true statement. Even if the Voltage that feeds a house is well regulated at the input to the line that feeds the house there is still a Voltage drop across the resistance of the feeder line that varies with total house load current. Of course this Voltage drop subtracts from the no load Voltage present at the outlets. This is normally not a problem because most all home electrical equipment is designed to operate properly over the range of Voltage variations caused by normal load variations.
Q:Google isn't helping me very much with this one. I want to increase my lighting power on my scooter.I have a 2004 SYM RV (aka Joyride) 180cc. It's second generation. It currently sports a 55/60W halogen as the front headlight. It's not great, but it's sufficient.I live in Taiwan and am not a native speaker, but I do my best to do the work myself. I'd call myself an intermediate with scooter repair. Can't find much in the way of information about the electricals though.I want to install a fog lamp on my fork for short-medium range light. The stuff that is for scooters and motorcycles is usually pretty lame or just for visibility. I live in the countryside and often do a one-hour commute on poorly lit highways between 80 and 110 kph. More lightgood.Where can I find out what my electricals can take? How the heck does the scooter generate electricity anyhow? What are the dangers of putting too high a load?Where can I find more info on HID lighting? Thanks!
When it comes to adding electrical stuff on a bike(or anything)you need to know how much amperage the total equipment will draw. You need to find the output of your alternator and how many amps your electrical system draws now. Then how much whatever lights you want to add draw.If you exceed the output your system will not be able to keep up and your battery will discharge instead of charge. That's the best i can do for an answer as i have no idea what that is your riding.Chances are your electrical system couldn't handle the amperage draw of too much extra lighting.Try looking in your owners manual or a repair manual for the amperage output of your scooter and go from there.Or contact the technical department of that company and ask them if you can add extra lights. They will know.
Q:i am going to ship my furniture including my electronics( refrigerator, recorder, laptop, dishwasher, drier, etc) i want to now if the voltage in USA is 240v as in Dubai or 110v and i case of difference i want your advice i`ll ship them or not
Kaed59, The usual problems of shipping GCC electonic and electrical equipment to the USA (NOT applicable to Saudi Arabia) is that the main power supply in USA is 110VAC as compared to the UAE - which is predominantly 220VAC (so you will be needing lots of transformer or a big transformer with a bigger wattage rating. But the biggest problem is actually the frequency (Hz). The US utilize a 60Hz frequency as opposed to the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait's 50Hz frequency (KSA use 60Hz). Hence, you will find in SOME of the electrical appliances and equipment as rated 90-230VAC 50-60Hz. These are universal appliances which can be used both in European (50Hz) and American (60Hz) power supply. Unless specified by the manufacturer to operate on either 50 or 60 Hz, appliances may not operate efficiently or even safely if used on other than the intended supply frequency. I would suggest you check before shipping them and dispose locally before you shipp to US. Good luck and have a safe journey !!!

Q:whats the correct procedure if you found a piece of faulty electrical equipment?
Depending on what it is and where it is at, lock it out and tag it out, then notify your boss. If you know nothing about lock outs, notify your boss and Maintenance. Wingman
Q:Basically a reptile shop is selling some dangerous equipmet which I have brought. These include a un-ballasted fluorecent bulb unit (some home made unit using a plug a terminal and 2 end caps) (the vivarium looks burnt) (I wonder why :P) and they sold us a second hand starter unit (ballasted) which stank of smoke and had a 13 amp fuse however should have had a max 3 amp fuse. They are very un-knowledgeable about reptiles and the fuse to the starter unit looked burnt on the ends. I'm just worked about the safety of others who buy their equipment from there as I know for a fact most of it's dangerous. They sold me a 30w starter unit for a 15w bulb which I brought from them at the same time, any ideas who to contact about this unsafe store (I'm in the uk) thanks. :)
