Q:what are some good supplements or tips for maxing out on bench. and dont say im too young for supplements either! im a 15, 5'9 and 170 lb middle linebacker/fullback. i can leg press about 550 and can only bench like 120 if that?! please help me!
Do a lot of pushups, at least 500 a day, and also make sure you arent bending your arms at the wrist while lifting the weights.
Q:What will happen if you press charges against your ex boyfriend if you are only 17 and he is 20 he started asking for nude pictures when you were 16?What would happen to his daughter as well?
Court. His word against yours. Probably nothing other than hard feelings between the two of you. In this order. Statutory Rape is easier, since you only have to prove you had sex. Pictures, well, not much. Rape, not much. The amount of proof is the issue. Unless you have emails or letters, or video tape, from then to know, you don't have much. Even then, proving they are true and not forged is another headache. Now, you usually just press charges and the state takes over, unless it is a civil suit/issue. All this is saying is that you agree to stand up in court and attest he did this or that. If there is enough evidence, the state can use you as a witness, meaning that they know a crime was committed even if you do not or cannot testify. In this case, unless you are caught sending them (child pornography), the odds are you are the case. When an officer asks if you will press charges, it's like saying will you see this through since we didn't see it. If, by some chance, you can prove it and the court agrees, then his daughter may end up with her mother or in foster care until he is released, and then maybe not even then. Some states/areas may not allow such an offender to have custody of his child after this.
Q:but when I press F12 the Boot Menu shows up quicklyand also it shows a message SMART Failure Predicted on Hard disk 0 (but I change the hard drive with a new one).Any suggestions
Press 'Delete' to enter the Bios Press F8 When you want to chose how windows starts.
Q:I'm currently using the Prescriptives Flawless SkinTotal Protection and when I apply it in the morning it looks great on my skin once it dries, but 3 hours later my face looks very oily. I have never used powder over my foundation before. I wanted to make my skin look natural when wearing foundation, so thats why I was afraid to use the powder plus foundation. Should I use the Prescriptives pressed powder or the loose powder to help control the shiny look?
It really doesn't make a difference whether it's loose or pressed. They both do the same job. Only the texture is different. If you have oily skin, you should use the pressed power. It will probably keep the shine away longer. Plus it's easier to carry with you in case you need to touch up. Your skin should still look natural after the powder as long as you buy the right shade. When you go the counter to but the powder, make sure you let them know you have oily skin, so they will sell you a powder to control the oil. I wear Estee Lauder foundation and power and still look natural.
Q:Why is a free press essential to democracy? If there were no free press, how would you get your information? If you couldn’t trust the information, what effect would that have on your political attitudes? Can we maintain a democracy when most Americans pay little attention to political events?
Free press is essential because there are people who do pay attention to what is said. It is important that we have a right to criticize the Govt, especially if the criticism is truth. Former President George W. Bush is himself a supporter of free speech, it was obvious too when he was asked what he thought of the comment the Dixie Chicks made about him, and he said that's their opinion. and well he is right about that, it is their opinion and we have a right to agree or disagree with such opinions they expressed. When Elton John blamed Dennis Miller for anti-American sentiments, Dennis Miller responded with well that's Elton John's opinion, but no one is required to agree with it. Free Speech involves saying what you wish as long as you don't spread lies or intend physical hard and/or murder, and if the words you freely speak seem very damning, you should have no fear if it happens to be the truth. When Peter Zenger printed an article about the cruel Royal Governor of New York, the Royal Governor had him tossed in Jail and put on trial for libel. However it turned out the article was the truth, so the Jury found Peter Zenger not guilty of libel, and he was set free. Peter thanked his lawyer for this but his lawyer said I should thank you, because this sets the stage for greater things. This set the precident of being able to print the truth even if the truth seemed cold and harsh. I remember when Joel Siegel said that he gives good reviews on movies he likes but he does write nasty things about movies he doesn't like.
Q:Hi everyone,I am making a baby blanket. It is a crochet pattern. the very end of the pattern says finger press moons and stars to lay flat. Does anyone know what that means?
It just means press them down with your fingers (as opposed to pressing them with an iron). If it doesn't work when the crochet is dry, you might have to wet it first, and block it with your fingers. That means to lay it out and pin it to the pattern measurements, and press down all shapes to lie flat.
Q:I am looking to get into reloading. What brand press should I get? I want a press that will do it all, prime, re-size etc. Also is it better to get a full kit or build my own from different manufacturers like say and RCBS press, Lyman scale, and Lee dies etc. Please help.
I'd get the full kit.A lot less hassle every thing at once.If I were to just getting into reloading I'd go with Lee, cheaper than the others but they work fine.If you start to really getting into it and are reloading a lot you can always upgrade. But if you don't like it or don't reload much you won't be out of a crap load of money.I reload so that's just my opinion
Q:want to get a progressive press, on a right budget and need to get it right the first time. what do you guys use and what would you recommend for me? my budget is $300, and need to be able ot load a wide variety of calibers- from pistol to magnum rifle, such as 9mm, 38 special, 45, 40, 10mm, 500 SW Magnum, 357/38, 44mag/44, 30-40, 45-70, .223, 308, 7.62x54r, 32 acp, 7.62x38r, 30 carbine, 5.7x28, and so on. I've looked at the lee pro 1000 and lee load master, they look good and price is great but not able to (and cheaply) able ot load a wide variety of calibers, which is a big problem. i want ot know whats a good progressive press that can also load just as many calibers as my single stage press can?
Dillon are 2nd to none. I have had the lee presses and they break too easily. Dillon is worth the extra money for ruggedness and trouble free operation.
Q:I work out regularly and consistently, but I've been lazy about the bench press for the past few months or so. I still work everything else out consistently, I just hate working my chest. I'm gonna start back up soon anyway.Anyway, the last time I benched (3 months ago), my one rep maximum for my bench press was 265lbs. Like I said, I haven't touched the bench since. However, I have been working really hard to improve my military press and have been very successful. I just started doing standing military presses with barbells and in the past 4 weeks, I've gone from my one rep maximum being 175 to 205 with perfect form. Can I expect my bench press to have increased as well as a result of indirect training? Thanks!
Its hard to say from military pressing, if you're shoulders were weak in comparison to your chest before then its likely that when you go back you're bench will be higher. You see more indirect strength gains from doing upper back work. My bench went up (without benching) when i did lots of rows, pullups and so on. The other thing is that the long head of the tricep will get alot of work from military presses, this could also boost the bench strenght. I would say the determining factor is how your form is on the bench press. If you have a slightly wider than shoulder width grip and keep your elbows pointing inwards slightly then their will be more anterior deltoid involvement and so the military press will definately help. But if you use a wide grip and let your elbows point outwards, then there is alot less shoulder help, and so it might not help that much. Either way its a good idea to give your chest a break and keep your shoulders healthy :)
Q:What's harder a chest press or bench press?I don't know why but I can bench way more than I can lift on a chest press machine. the chest press sitting up pushing forward on a machine drops me like 40 lbs. Is that mental or is a chest press from a sitting position more difficult than a bench press, thanks
The chest press machine at my gym involves the user pushing away from his/her chest BUT, also pushing upwards slightly. This is most likely the case with yours as well. This is then considered to be an incline press. Since incline presses isolates your upper chest to do the work, you will always lift more with the bench press because there's a smaller fraction of your chest being used to push weight with the incline press. Note: the more of an incline you put to this press (Adjust the incline by doing the press on an adjustable bench) the more a shoulder workout it becomes. You will eventually reach a completely vertical press and this is ALL shoulder (military press).
