- I don't know if it will work. Spray the carpet with hydrogen peroxide. Then think about dying the carpet back to beige.

- The price should be around $40/square foot for a standard hand-knotted wool rug. If you're looking at a kilim (looks like a very thick tapestry) those will be much cheaper, and if you're looking at a silk rug, or silk blend rug, those will be about double the cost of wool, or maybe more.

- Q:I spilled black nail polish over my carpet (pale purple) when I got back from a night out last night. I managed to pour vanish carpet cleaner over it overnight, and that's made the polish fade a bit, but does anyone know how I can get it right out?
- This may sound crazy but it works, i spilt pink nail varnish over a creme carpet. And i got a sharp pair of scissors and chopped the top of the carpet of, like not must even came of just a bit of fluff and it actually looked exactly the same, no difference at all. And you couldn't see the nail varnish. because it was on the fluff of the carpet. and there was quite a lot of nail varnish spilt.. :S :D
- Q:How to clean the large carpet at home?
- forwool or wool blending blanket, detergent should be used ; other blankets should use washing powder (high foam, and dirt remover). wet the carpet and lat flatpaving, brush with soft brush dipped in detergent solution (water dissolved detergent) brush blanket from the edge, cannot leak, otherwise the effect will be affected. rinse and brush (ture on the water from the hose and brush with a soft brush ), insure the detergent on every spot. wash and push the carpet with a piece of flat wood. Rinse blanket, spray a few drops of water added vinegar on the carpet to remove residual washing liquid, antibacterial disinfection. squeeze water as much as possible with plank, hang it to dry it, drying as soon as possible, when the carpet is completely dry, lay flat and brush with a soft brush toward one direction to make it more organized and neat.

- You can figure between $1.50/sqft - $4.00/sqft + installation, just depending on what type of carpet you choose. I just put some in my house that was about 1500sqft worth of carpet and paid $5500 total, and that wasn't that nice of carpet. I would shop around, yes it's nice to have some companies come to your house, but you should get several quotes and use them against each other as a bargaining tool. Good luck.
- Q:I purchased this house last year Sept. 17 2010. From day 1 I had severe problems. The ceilings in the back fell from a Norway rat eating the pipes. I did a mold test and Black Mold was a positive. The walls have been removed and replaced. The rat problem stopped after a Professional Trapper was hired. The house has been completed changed. All big mirrors are gone. That is were mold was too. Now I have Conjunctivitis in both eyes and I keep itching. Is this possibly the carpet in the back rooms? I have been cleaning them out so they can be tiled next week. Is tile a good idea? The AC unit could also be an issue. I would appreciate any advice. Owning a home is great. Most of the house has been completely remodeled. Carpet. AC unit. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
