- Q:a few days ago i was racking up weights on the leg press machine but my gym teacher stopped me and told me that the leg press is bad for the joints and introduced me to the dead liftso im wondering:is the leg press really bad for the joints? - Lol, that's weird, why would your school have that equipment if you can't use it. We have a leg press at our school and I use it all the time. I suppose it might have minor joint damage, but everything damages the joints! Going up stairs is bad for them, walking and running is bad for them. We can't avoid everything, that's why God gave us joints. Lol, were supposed to use them. : )

- Q:what kind of clothing is this for? can you dry regular t-shirt, Polo's, pants, jeans and shorts on this setting? how long does it take? and if ur dryer only has high, Permanent press, and low, is the press a medium heat? i am trying to avoid shirking.......
- Permanent press is a medium setting. You can use it any time you would use medium heat. I keep my dryer on the 'permanent press' setting, and only use 'high' for things like dog blankets that I don't care about.

- To me, they ALL appear to be at least SOME form of a political implication of press restraint. #3 might be the selection I'd make if one of them DOESN'T apply, but even it does to some extent.

- Hundreds of scientists do not. There is not a reputable scientific organisation in the world that has not endorsed the fact that global warming is man made. However Exxon-mobil and other oil, gas and coal interests have funded a well orchestrated campaign of denial and it is organisations and PR groups representing their interests that have spread the disinformation that you and others are regurgitating.
- Q:The standing barbell presses that you lift over your head, it works your shoulders. Should I stop doing this since im still growing? or is it safe.Also My friend told me that after you work out you should hang on a bar for 30 seconds to stretch your spine and you dont stunt your growth.. Is that true??????
- PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS WARNING Standing presses do not stunt your growth. Standing presses do have a danger because this exercise puts a lot of strain on the rotator cuff of both shoulders. I had to have surgery on my right shoulder because of this so please do not ignore this warning. Before doing this exercise, you should work on conditioning of your rotator cuffs for at least 6 months. You can find exercises for this by doing a Google search. When you are ready, doing the press with dumbells with palms facing is less strain on the joint than standing presses with the barbell.

- Just do dumbbell press.... It can work same muscles as bench press. Only difference is that weight in both of your arms are not connected with bar...

- Q:Hi,Last year I got a garlic press from William Sonoma. I hate it! It is so hard to clean and just smushes the garlic. I want to know, what is a really good garlic press that will give me nice pieces of garlic and will clean very easily?Do you have a website? Do you have a link?Alot of the ones they have out now don't clean up well, ie you can never get the garlic out of the press. They also have really small holes so they just smush the garlic.So if you know of one, please let me know.Thank you for your help :)
- I have a Zyliss that I like. It came w/ a little cleaner thingy to clean the holes out . But normally, I don't bother. I just mash the clvoe on a cutting board w/ a wide knife, then chop finely. Works for whatever a garlic press would be needed for.
