NS334,ASTM:HastelloyC276,GB:00Cr15Ni60Mo16W5Fe5,N10276, W.Nr.2.4819 is Nickel molybdenum - chromium - iron - tungsten alloy.
Alloy 276 can be processed and formed as austenitic stainless steel in the same standard.However,its hardness is much bigger than the traditional austenitic stainless steel.So it needs more load to deform and during cold-processing,its hardening rate is more faster than austentic stainless steel.The two factors(high initial strength and cold hardening speed)make the intermediate annealing so neceaasry when the cold-deforming range is wide.
The welding property of alloy 276 is similar to the austenitic stainless steel.When choosing the welding method,the technique, which can make the corrosion level minimized,should be adopted.Gas-tungsten arc welding,gas metal arc welding, Gas protect metal extremely welding and electric resistance welding methods has few damage to the corrosion resistance of welding points and Hot metamorphic parts.Oxy welding method cannot be adpoted because the carbon may be collected from the oxy flame and underwater arc solvent with carbon and silicon cannot be used too sice same collection phenomenon will happen. The lowest levels of heat input should be consistent with moderate penetrates to avoid causing thermal crack.
All our alloy 276 procuts are taken solution heat treatment,which including the heat treatment and rapid chilling in the range of 1900 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius 2100 degrees (10.4 degrees - 1150 degrees)。It needs to take 2 seconds or less than 2 seconds to cool rapidly into black in order to keep its best corrosion intensity.Stress relieving heat treatment doesnot work so well.When stress relieving heat treatment is necessary for other materials,it should be taken fully annealing.The materials receiving heat treatment should keep clean,keep from greasy dirt and oils and potential carbon source.
