- I'd like to see a soft gray with your yellow walls red sofas, so I hope you can find a rug with yellow, red gray in it. (Check Penney's website - tons of rugs) Your rug should be at least 5x7 in your seating area. You can do a layered look add blinds underneath...that way you only need side panels of drapery or sheer (for softness) on a decorative rod. I would choose a natural woven roman shade in a warm yellow tone to add texture blend with your yellow walls. Check Lowe's for great prices on these.
- Q:Less than a yr ago i got a sofa sectional w- 2 recliners a sleeper. Less than a month after i bought it i had some friends spend the night the sleeper closed on them. Nobody got hurt thankfully. I then called Ashley Furniture the next morning complained. I did have a warranty insurance on the couch. I had to spend months complaining 3 mos later they send someone to look at it. It takes him another month to send a replacement sofa. I got the new sofa in so i felt it was safe i had my parents sleeping on the bed and it closed injured my 64 year old dad. (He has back problems anyhow). I felt it could have been the hard wood floors making it close up. So i got carpet installed under the sofa area. Well sure enough my best-friend was here sleeping over. It closed again injured my friends knee. I called told them all this asked if there was a recall on this sofa they said no. The model # is 8890397. I can't find the sofa on the website anymore. Where can i go to find out.
- Is Ashley the manufacturer..?... or just the 'dealer'? I would find the tag that tells who manufactured the couch and call them directly. Search for them on the net if you have to. Keep going up the management ladder at Ashley until you get some satisfaction. Bottom line is that you are not happy with the product....make them make it right.

Not concerned about other entry ways. Basically, seems to me that I should be able to pivot the sofa in through the door If I stand it on its end, put the back in the door first and then pivot the seat portion in.Any thoughts from any movers out there?
- Is the hallway a straight shot? If it curves at the door you will have more difficulty. Also, do you have a straight shot after you get through the door? If the sofa is material and stuffed you have a little more give. You stand the chance of damaging the sofa a little also on the door facing especially if it is leather. You should be able to fit it in. It is a lot easier if you have more than one person moving the sofa.

- Q:My 2.5 yr old just had a huge accident on my microfiber sofa. I have a towel soaking it up but I don't know what to use on it now. It's a dark brown color, so stains usually don't show that much, but it was a LOT of pee. I can not take the cushions off. I just tried blotting it up with towels and then ran my Kerby vaccum over it. It's still very wet and I don't know if it worked. Any suggestions?
- If your sofa is a true micro fiber than the liquid should just wipe off the surface. It seems that blotting should not be necessary. water/vinegar solution should work for the odor and steam can sanitize it. here is a link that describes how to care for a microfiber sofa. Good Luck

- Q:ok I have one of those imitation micro fiber sofas, and I have a problem.. My hubby insist that it is ok for our 300 lb. English Mastiff to get up on the couch... it drived me insane but I try to ignore it... however now, there are 2 tears in the fabric.. they are L shaped, (almost like a box knife caused it) and are only about an inch in length.. the fabric still meets together if you know what I mean (there isn't a hole, only a tear). My husband won't listen and insists that it is not from the dog, but I do know better.... Anyhow my question is how do I try and repair this without it being too noticable... - Flex-able fabric glue may work, and booties on the dog paws or a nice throw blanket. You could always make some kind of cover for the couch, pillows.
