First - think about hiring a handyman to do this. Soldering pipe isn't hard, but learning how to do it while under your house where a leak would be hard to find and repair is not easy. The peace of mind might be worth it. Be sure to ask for an estimate on the price, both for material and for labor, before you agree to anything. If you have to or really want to do it yourself, find a book on DIY plumbing tips. You can probably find one at almost any home improvement stores, like Lowe's, Menards, Home Depot, etc. Then read the parts on making solder joints carefully. Get some pipe and fittings, and practice making joints in the garage, back yard, or someplace well ventilated and easy to work in. Under the house is NOT the place to try this. I'd recommend you try to make at least 20 good joints, and test them by putting them under water pressure to see if they are good. You'll need a propane torch, solder, flux, pipe, fittings, a pipe cleaning brush, and a tubing cutter. The last is a gizmo that cuts copper pipe easily and cleanly. It's MUCH better than using a saw. The brush is a special wire brush that scrubs the corrosion off the inside and outside of the pipe, to help make a better joint. Oh, and get ready for a case of sticker shock when you go to buy copper pipe. The price of copper has skyrocketed lately, so you'll want to be careful to buy only the sizes you need. Read the book about the different kinds and sizes and thicknesses of copper pipe, and look carefully at what you have now, so you know what to get. But you'll still be better off hiring someone to do this, I think.

Q:Okay so my 6 yr old son is a bed wetter and put him in disposable diapers at night. I too was a bed wetter at night growing up and my parents had me in diapers at night. I just got reaquainted with an old friend and she has a 5 yr old that is a bed wetter but refuses to use diapers or pull up diapers on him. I have been trying to explain to her that I have done an enormous amount of research on bed wetting and diapering at night and its not a bad thing to use diapers at night but she keeps refusing but also keeps complaining about how much laundry she is doing. Not a good idea. It needs to be properly pierced. You also have to have a good innie with a good amount of skin to pierce. Some people cant have bb piercing. It has to be deep enough so that it won't be able to break thru but you can't go too deep or your in for trouble. Do you have any starter earrings that have a pointed tip? Make sure it is clean and at least sanitary. This includes your BB area. It hurts but with a pin?? What are you planning to do after piercing thru, leaving it in? With an earring that is meant to pierce skin, it will have hopefully the correct metal that will not cause a reaction. BB piercing take a long time to heal. A safety pin will snag on your clothes and pull. It hurts!! start at the top. Make sure you have a good reasonably good hunk of skin and put your finger in your belly button to feel where the earring will exit. if it is too close, it might rip, too deep it might not sit right and could be dangerous. Be careful, you cannot be too clean. Use a anti-biotic cream or ointment and it is only a couple dollars to get piercing antiseptic. It will be well worth it.
