FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:How can a vacuum cleaner take out the dust?
This filter is a protective barrier to prevent rupture of dust bag dust inhalation of the motor, the air enters the motor through the motor outflow, due to carbon in the operation of electric motor constant wear, so the outflow of the vacuum cleaner with a filter.
Q:Is kirby vacuum cleaners an MLM?
No. It is a franchised single owner business.
Q:Are there any upright vacuum cleaners you like thats under $100 and is not bag less?
I also have a Bissell bagless. I have been given it from Walmart for basically $a hundred. it is a solid vacuum, and that i've got puppy fur around the homestead. The Bissell bagless would not blink an eye fixed at my cat fur. i'm thinking approximately buying a airborne dirt and dirt devil to assist me with the stairs. the stepspersistent me nuts.
Q:Not sure which brand I should bite the bullet on
I okorder , I called up because a buddy of mine actually told me he went into their store and got a discount and got $150 off for calling up. Had it the next day in CT at $949 flat. Definitely would recommend Miele though. Germans always make the best
Q:What's the Cadillac of vacuum cleaners?
Dyson's... I have few of those.. each cost more than $399
Q:I want to know if people like ......#92;Eureka 4750A UprightHoover U5140-900 UprightEuro-Pro Shark SX 800 VX63 Stick VacuumEureka 439AZ OPTIMA Pet Lover
I have a KIRBY G-6. Wouldn't take anything for it. Self-propelled, Sucks up all dirt and will get the stains up too, with the shampoo attachment.
Q:Have any of you had a newer Kirby vacuum cleaner (the one the representatives say cleans all the way to the bare floor) and could you compare it's performance to other quot;storebrands? I'm not really interested in value (I know they are terribly expensive) but want to know if they really do clean as advertised. I moved into a new house with some dirty carpets and a friend of mine offered to let me borrow her Kirby vacuum cleaner with built in carpet shampooer and I want to know how well it will clean. Is the shampooer equal to one I could rent at Wal-Mart or another store? Thanks for the help!
No they are not worth it. My wife bought one from a friend who became a saleswoman. It doesn't pick up dirt that well. It is a major nuisance to change over from vacuum to rug shampooer. It has a tendency to spill the cleaning liquid (dirty water that it sucked out of the carpet) so that most of the rug is OK but there are some really dirty parts where the liquid slopped out. If you switch from one mode to the other and don't get it together perfectly it will not turn on at all. My wife claims she doesn't know how to run anything that complicated. I stick to my ShopVac if I need to vacuum something. We have no dogs so hair removal is not an issue for us. Short answer is don't bother. Get a regular vacuum and rent a rug cleaner when you need one.
Q:My dog sheds year round, but even more so in the summertime. I've gone through several vacuum cleaners that work at first, then stop altogether. I dismantle the hose and clean out the hairs if they clog but I can't get adequate. What could be wrong? Can you recommend a vac that really picks up pet hair effectively?
I okorder /
Q:What is the best lightweight vacuum cleaner for use in a home with pets? I am willing to spend up to $300.
I have a HOOVER-SAVVY it's under $300 and if you get the extended 3 yr. warranty should still be under $300. I used to go through a vacuum once a year and we didn't even have carpet... They would just die and I'd throw em' out. I got my HOOVER-SAVVY almost 5 yrs. ago as a birthday present and I LOVE it... I have 2 toddler and a large breed dog that sheds... It's NEVER failed me. I clean houses part-time for extra money and I started by using the clients vacuum... One day I brought my own vacuum from hom after I vacuumed the carpets I re-vacuumed with my HOOVER and I was AMAZED at all the stuff it picked up on a carpet that looked clean! So, I was sold! I vacuum EVERYDAY my house as well as 2 others... The vacuum works very, very well. Since I have the warranty I take my vacuum in 2x a yr. I'll usually call the customer service line with my policy number and tell them it's clogged or something weird.. I get a whole clean/check for FREE and it works like new! The vacuum doesn't take belts, bags so it's virtually maintance free. The only down side is the filters can be expensive. I have found them on sale at BEST BUY for under $40 for both... They last with normal use 2 yrs. For me since I have kids/pet and I clean other people's houses with children/pets. I replace mine every yr!... The vacuum isn't completely lightweight... I've tried those and have found they don't have enough horsepower.. This vacuum isn't super-heavy or superlight it's inbetween! It's easy to empty and replace the filters. It also has onboard attachments for furniture and high/hard to reach places. Though I like to use a wet/dry shopvac once a week on my furniture it's faster cuz. the attachments are bigger! Good luck
Q:Are there any top tips from preventing or removing dust from the inside of a pc???Couldnt see any specialist vacuum cleaners anywhere??
I open the case and clean mine out and clean the fans with a q tip and when I am not using it, I cover the tower with a plastic bag, does not look pretty though they do make regular covers for the tower and keyboard. Once you get it clean, the cover really helps cut down on the dust. I have a small hand helpd mini vaccum with attachments for the computer and though I seldom to never have to use it on my own I have used it on several that I have worked on. People use that canned air but for every piece of dust or lent that you blow off, it lands somewhere else in the pc. I recommend cleaning with a soft cloth and a q tip, be carefull and then cover with a bag, towel or ect. You will notice a big difference in the amount of dust that you accumulate. Hope this helps.
