FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:It's a big pain to loop them around those two hooks. I have a bad back and hate all that bending over to do so. Plus, when I turn the top hook to get the cord off and usable it gets all twisted. It's so nice with a canister vac to just touch the button with my toe and ZIPPP, it's all tidy.
Sears does. Their Kenmore brands have retractable cords. I have one. It is a canister vacuum with carpet attachments. Works great does the job of two vacuums.
Q:Your Open QuestionShow me another ? Professional House Cleaners only Please answer question about Commercial Vacuum cleaners?I have a house cleaning business, we clean 2 homes a day and after buying 14 vacuum cleaners in the past 2 years I am done with spending money on vacuums that don't hold up or are 2 heavy or have so many filters to clean that you spend your evenings doing that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what vacuum we should buy? Just like you the house's we clean have an array of flooring, wood, tile, oriental rugs, carpet. Please help with your experience Thanks!!
I have had the same issues time and time again, either too heavy, won't fit under furniture, hoses tear, too may filters and like you tired of replacing them. I purchased a Dyson about a year ago and it has not lost suction yet. I use it everyday it only needs one filter and I wash it out as directed which is perfect for me. The extension pole on it is great too for getting dusty spots and spiderwebs. I comes with a lot of different attachments so i can manage multiple surfaces. I will never buy another vacuum brand.
Q:What is the real reason Vacuum Cleaners have a head light on the front of it?
For those bored people who vacuum at night.lol not really if your going under a couch or something you probably want to see what your sucking up right? Hey, i found the remote!
Q:Do canister model vacuum cleaners have a belt on them?
The floor sweeper with the rotating brush Yes the belt is on that part only. not in the canister itself There is no belt in the that part or the vacuum
Q:Are there any ladies out there who use a vacuum cleaner that has an inflatable bag on it? What kind do you have? Do you like it?
i had a eureka..and then I got a bagless eureka...im sorry but i luv the bagless one betta...it just seems it picks up more dirt!
Q:so the universe will explode inward someday, could we prevent this by taking giant vacuums, switch them to reverse, and expand the universe?
Are you talking about vacuum *cleaners*? Calling one a vacuum is just a diminutive colloquialism. You did know that didn't you? You are correct, though, in that the vacuum is something that can be expanded as opposed to the nothing that those who take it for granted assume it to be. It has properties like length, width, breadth, and time, which all inflated during by the Big Bang, and are expanding still. Nothing, by contrast, has no properties.
Q:I need a good quality vacuum that is not to expensive. I have a dog so I was thinking a pet hair cleaner. can anyone give me some suggestions?
Two schools of thought here. For less than a hundred bucks you can buy and upright, and it will work, but you will wear it out because it doesn't really work as well or efficiently as the more expensive models. But, because they are cheap you can afford to replace them as needed. I have tried a lot of them, the Fantom Fury was always breaking down, clogging up, in the shop, and it was almost $500. What a waste. I have a Eureka now, about $250 and it works well.
Q:if your boyfriend / husband purchased a vacuum cleaner or work out equipment asa gift for you? straight to the dog house or not? :]
depends... if he bought a vacuum and said it was from Santa to the both of us, that would be cute, esp if I didn't like my vacuum. And I'd love exercise equipment, I'd be happy to get it.
Q:What are the best reasonably priced HEPA air filters out there? Is it best to get one that attached to a furnace (but then its only running when the heat or AC is on) or a few smaller ones and move them room to room? Also, I understand that it is imprtant to try and vacuum with a HEPA vacuum. Any advice on something out there that is reasonably priced (and reasonably priced filters). For both, I want to get something that is not too cheap (ie something that actually works) but not top of the line (I am not running a hospital.. just want to increase the quality of the air we breathe at home.
Hello, okorder
Q:my son is Absolutely terrified of vacuum cleaners even if its off hes ok as long as its put away he used to love it ive never chased him with it or anything ive tried letting him touch it his father has even tried we have tried letting our son push it but he wont all he does is scream shake and try to get away i don't know what to do i cant just go with out vacuuming and i don't have anyone that can just come over for the day to help ive tried vacuuming when hes asleep but it wakes him up any suggestions and no rude comments im just wondering if i should by him a toy vacuum and then maybe tell him to help mommy and just to let you know he is alot smarter than the average 8 month old he is already saying scentences like have a nice day i love you where you at how are you doing and some others please help it hurts to see hes that terrified of vacuums and that i have to do it
They are scary, the make loud noises they are three times the size of an 8 month old. I would be terrified of something like that to. This is a phase and he will get over it, just vacuum RIGHT when he wakes up before you grab him from his crib. I had to do this for about 4 months with my son. Then my boyfriend vacuumed while he was on my lap a couple times, then he was fine, but you will have to wait till he is older i think. ADDITION: If there are days where your son doesn't nap and it is just the two of you I guess you'll have to skip vacuuming for the day
