                          Robot for Cell String Layup









Utility: This machine is applicable to the cell string layup process in  solar module production lines. It is used to place the cell strings on glass panels which is already laid up with EVA films.


The robot is primarily composed by assemblies of axses x, y, z in a cartesian coordinate, axis r assembly and sucking device assembly.



Process:




Cells are just tabbed into strings by cell stringer and go to the flipper to wait for layup robot.








The layup robot comes over and picks the string up from the flipper with its left arm and pass the string in front of its right arm, the right picks the string up, makes a turning of 180 and put it on the glass panel.  



 

When the glass panel is full of cell strings, the conveyor will transfer them to the next station, for bussing.
