Q:A 75kg painter stands on a 5.5m long uniform plank resting on a scaffold.?
The mass of the plank on the left side of the scaffold is: M₁ = (20 kg) × (1.5 m) / (5.5 m) = 5.45 kg The distance between the scaffold and the center of mass on the left side is: L₁ = (1.5 m) / 2 = 0.75 m So the torque of the plank on the left side is: T₁ = (5.45 kg)×(0.75 m) = 4 kgm The mass of the plank on the right side of the scaffold is: M₂ = (20 kg) × ((5.5 m) - (1.5 m)) / (5.5 m) = 14.5 kg The distance between the scaffold and the center of mass on the left side is: L₂ = ((5.5 m) - (1.5 m)) / 2 = 2 m So the torque of the plank on the left side is: T₂ = (14.5 kg)×(2 m) = 29 kgm Now, say the painter stands at X meter on the left side from the scaffold, so the torque added on the left side is: T₃ = X × (75 kg) The total torque on the left must be the same as the total torque on the right, so (4 kgm) + X×(75 kg) = (29 kgm) X×(75 kg) = (25 kgm) X = 0.333 m That is the maximum distance the painter can move away from the scaffold, so the distance to the end of the scaffold is: D = (1.5 m) - (0.333 m) = 1.167 m < - - - - - - answer
Q:What is the significance of the three scaffold scenes in the Scarlet Letter?
Scaffold Scarlet Letter
Q:my scaffolding piercing.. read more?
WTF is a scaffolding? If it's what I hope it is you should poast a link to a pic of it....
Q:I Got A Scaffolding/Industrial Piercing!?
Thats an awesome piercing, nice job! I'm not laughing about being unable to unscrew it - I have a piercing in my pinna I've never been able to get out - had it for like 6 months. What I will say it that you shouldn't be taking it out yet really anyway. If you wash it in sea-salt and warm water once a day it should be almost totally healed in 8 weeks, which is still about two weeks away if you got it on the 16th Feb. Even then for the first 6 months or so it'll close pretty quickly (not in like an hour or anything, but it could get tighter in as little as 3 or 4 hours), so you should try to leave it in all the time for that 6 month period.
Q:Bridge template support bowl button steel scaffolding, you need to set the sweeping rod
Bridge formwork support bowl buckle type steel pipe scaffold, need to set the sweeping rod.
Q:Scaffolding/Industrial piercing advice?
When you do the two piercings separate and then put the bar in for healing, you have a chance of slight migration and when that happens, it's possible for the bar not to fit properly since industrials have to be at a perfect angle. I had a bar put in straight away and had no problem and I go to a really amazing piercer. Both ways have their cons, with a bar running through two piercings if one gets infected, the other is likely too as well. But if you take care of the piercing properly, that shouldn't be a problem.
Q:will my insurance be void if scaffolding erected on my property is not alarmed?
~~Your insurance would cover you if anyone broke in, unless you set it up yourself (you didn't) so you have no control and insurance would cover this.~~
Q:I got my scaffold piercing 4 weeks ago, but is it infected?
First, leave the piercing in. The jewelry will act as a drain. If you take the jewelry out while it still has puss, the infection can be caught under the skin and that's a world of problems. ONLY wash it with unscented, uncolored anti-bacterial soap and sea salt soak it with warm (not hot) water twice a day for 10 minutes. I think it's 1/4 teaspoon sea salt water in 1 cup water
Q:How to calculate the cost of scaffolding erection
The general case is to artificial fee fee based fees, high-rise building scaffolding demolition charges, high fees are in fixed price as the base fee of labor costs, but the valuation when high costs denominated base also includes the high-rise building costs, labor costs and fee scaffolding. In addition, the rates are different, you should refer to the various regions of the fixed fee rate, hoping to help you!
Q:I want to get an industrial or a scaffold piercing. any cons?
Very RARELY do piercings actually get infected. There's a host of different irritations and mishaps that can happen to your piercing that will cause redness and swelling and weeping, but they're not really infections. Keeping your piercing clean, and not wearing tight hats, headbands, or helmets, sleeping on your piercing, and just generally babying your piercing will keep it happy and devoid of irritation. As for being annoying, mine is fine, now, but it was kind of a pain when I first got it done. Granted, I got 10 gauge holes punched out of my ear, so my healing was a BIT more involved, but the typical timeframe for a cartilage piercing to heal is at least 6 months. I also got pierced on the side I sleep on, but getting one of those travel pillows works great for sleeping with healing cartilage piercings. Good luck!
