- Q:Hiya, I just had a scaffold piercing on the 14th of this month.. and everything was fine but in the last couple of days my ear has become a bit swollen and has broke out into spots. The actual piercing is fine, I found some dry blood on the end of the piercing but I dismissed that as nothing. The piercing doesn't hurt at all but its the itching that's getting to me! :(Any advice please, (bear in mind i shall be going to the doctors)Thanks
- You shouldn't need to see the doctor. You may be having a reaction to the jewelry. Doctors are not very knowledgeable about piercings. In fact, most that I've met are quite biased against them. Swelling with a scaffold piercing is normal. Sometimes it takes a few days to take effect. Go to your piercer and let them take a look at it first. If you're wearing surgical steel you may need titanium. Also make sure you're only using sea salt soaks twice a day to keep it clean. No antiseptic cleaners, witch hazel, alcohol, peroxide, antibiotic ointment, most soaps, etc.
- Q:Can a guardrail on a scaffold be used as an access point?
- No NEVER! It is a breach of Health and Safety regulations.
- Q:above the ground by pulling on a rope weighting 6lb/ft. Set up the integral of how much work is required ( only the integrand)? Let x denote the height above ground. What is the total work?
- tie 3 concrete blocks to the end of the rope and let that bucket fly up = let gravity do the work
- Q:Bowl buckle type steel pipe scaffold and full fastener type scaffolding are long what kind of? What is the difference
- Fastener type scaffolding is composed of shelves and fasteners, and the bowl buckle scaffold is made up of the bowl buckle, the lower bowl buckle, cross bar joints, vertical rods, beams and other components, the method of building some differences
- Q:I have already got a cartilage piercing, and I was considering getting a scaffold bar. I don't mind pain, but soon as it was in an unusual place, I was just a little bit curious.
- I even have had 31 piercings performed and that i think of that lip piercings harm decrease than scaffold piercings through fact the therapeutic technique is longer in Scaffold piercings. bypass get the lip piercing performed! :)
- Q:i know they are meant to be done as one piercing and with one bar to reduce the risk of them not aligning properly but is it possible to have it done as one piercing and then replacing the bar with two separate ones after it has partially healed. is there still a risk? also, how low down and at what angle should the bar be?thanks x
- They can be done as two separate piercings, and it is up to the piercer and the shape of your ear to decide if something like that will be done. However, I would not recommend it, because even if it is partially healed, putting two separate earrings in can still misalign the piercing when you go to put the bar back in later. I would recommend keeping the bar in, it's a guaranteed way to make your piercing work out. Besides, once you get used to the bar, you won't even know you have it in! Much easier than keeping track of two separate earrings and making sure they still align months down the road. As for the angle, it depends on your preference and what is able to be done due to the shape of your ear. Some people want theirs straight across, others want a much steeper angle. It all depends on preference and shape of ear. Hope this helps, good luck!
- Q:Hey guys, so I got my scaffolding (ear) done yesterday. My piercer told me NOT to clean it, and that the best thing for a cartilage piercing is to quot;leave it bequot; I trust this advice, but I wanted to ask your opinion or methods that worked for you :) Thanks lt;3
- To be perfectly honest, I don't clean my piercings while they are healing. I follow the LITHA (leave it the hell alone) method and have never, ever dealt with infection in any of my piercings. But I have also had a pretty good amount of piercings and know my body heals them just fine to not have to mess with them. If this is one of your first piercings and you've not healed a cartilage piercing before, I'd stick to doing sea salt soaks twice a day for 5-10 minutes each soak with 1/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of hot water.
- Q:i have two holez i the bottom of my ear and now i wanna get something done to the top i want eather a scaffold or a cartlige and a tragus what do you guyz think
- well, i'd say cartilidge is the least painful and probably the most convienent out of the three. i did mine by myself a few times and i wasn't in pain at all. i'd reccomend getting it done though rather than doing it yourself. with a scaffold it is easy things to be caught in it like hair or something since it is a bar.. and my friend got her tragus done. it is the first time i've ever seen her cry a ton. i heard it hurts like a mother.
- Q:What is the difference between the new type of scaffold and the scaffold?
- Novel scaffold. This new scaffold node adopts the structure of self-locking connection, the bar and the pole connected by mortise and tenon, so that all members of effective connection, to eliminate the impact of human factors; the rod axis intersect in one point, all the axial force, no additional stress, good mechanical performance, reliable connection, the overall composition of the scaffold good quick, simple operation; erection; no loose parts, advantage:
- Q:And how long do you have to keep it on? Any other knowledge I should know?
- 8 - 16 weeks - healing time. But with some people it can be alot longer! Clean 3 - 4 times a day. Try cleaning with a mix of tea tree oil and water! It doesn't hurt much :)
