Q:What is the acceptance standard of refractory?
Feeler gauge is used to check the thickness of the refractory brickwork joint. The top of the gauge can not be sharpened. Feeler gauge is of the width of 15mm, length of 100mm and thickness of 1, 1.5, 2 or 3mm. The thickness is eligible when the depth which the feeler gauge is inserted in is less than or equal to 20mm. Ten places should be inspected per 5m2 of masonry surfaces. It is qualified when the condition in which thickness of the brickwork joint is 50% larger than a predetermined depth is not less than five times and it is excellent when the condition is no more than two times.
Q:How many refractories are there for boiler above 1200 ℃?
In addition to refractory brick, refractories include refractory concrete (refractory cement+aggregate), fire-resistant insulating layer (refractory cement+vermiculite powder or refractory cement + diatomaceous earth) and the like. Refractories often used are azs brick, corundum brick, direct-bonded magnesia-chrome bricks, carborundum brick, silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide brick, nitride, silicide, sulfide, boride, carbide and other nonoxide refractory materials, calcium oxide, chromium hemitrioxide, aluminium oxide, beryllia and other refractories. Thermal insulation refractory materials often used are diatomite product, asbestos product, insulation board, etc. Unshaped refractories often used are repairing mass, ramming mass, castable refractory, plastic refractory, refractory mortar, refractory gunning mix, sling refractory, refractory coating, lightweight refractory castables, stemming, etc.
Q:What is the difference between the fire rating and the fire resistant level of the fire-fighting equipment?
Hello there. Fire rating and fire-fighting rating are the misnomer to the building fire resistant level. The building fire risk is measured by fire resistant level. The article 3.2.1 and 5.1.7 of "Architectural design code for fire protection" have made provision respectively on the fire resistant level of plant (the storeroom) and civil construction. Article 3.0.2 of "Code for fire protection design of tall buildings" has made provisions on the fire resistant level of tall buildings. As for the warehouse building "category malonate", it refers to one of the fire risk of goods storage, which is divided into A, B, C, D, E, and each category is refined depending on the nature of different substances. "Malonate class" specified in article 3.1.3 of "building design for fire protection" refers to the flammable solid.
Q:What are the application of old refractory bricks?
It can be used for refractory bricks again, as long as the quality is good. It is much more cost-effective than Bayerite.
Q:What kinds of refractory will be used in kiln of sintering ceramics?
High alumina brick, clay brick, insulating brick and silicon carbide plate.
Q:As for fireproofing material rock wool and glass wool, which one is better?
As for fireproofing effect, the effect of rock wool is certainly better than glass wool , the highest temperature of rock wool is 1100 ℃, but the temperature of glass wool is only 600 ℃. In addition, if it's used in the external walls, then, unit weight of the glass wool is limited, and high unit weight can only be 60-90, but unit weight of rock wool can reach over 140, now external wall can't use glass wool, and only rock wool is A class fireproofing material. glass wool has lower thermal conductivity, rock wool has longer fiber length,as for the price, tons price of glass wool is more expensive than rock wool, but if it's acculated by square, square price of glass wool is cheaper than rock wool.
Q:what are the types of piping insulation material fire rating?
according to China's national standard GB8624-97, the combustion performance of construction materials can be divided into several grades grade A: Incombustible building material: Almost no burning material. Class B1: nonflammable building material: nonflammable material has a good flame resistance effect. when it meet the open fire in the air or burnd at high temperature, it is difficult to spread quickly, and when the fire source is removed, the combustion stop immediately. Class B2: flammable building material: flammable material has a good flame resistance effect. when it meets open fire in the air or at high temperature, it will immediately burst into flames and easily cause fire spread, such as wooden column, timber roof truss, timber beam, and wooden stairs,ect.. Class B3: inflammable building material: No flame resisting effects, highly flammable, high fire risk. 2, external wall thermal insulation materials, in accordance with fire rating, can be divided into1) grade A combustion performance thermal insulation material: Rock wool, glass wool, foam glass, foamed ceramics, foam cement, hole-closed perlite ect.. 2) class B1 combustion performance insulation materials: Extruded polystyrene board (XPS) after special treatment / Special treatment of polyurethane (PU), phenolic aldehyde, gelatine powder polyphenyl granule, etc. 3) combustion performance of class B2 insulation material: molding polystyrene board(EPS), extruded polystyrene board (XPS), polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE), etc.
Q:What is carbon composite refractories? I hope that the answer is in detail.
Q:Who know what kind of fire shutter fire rating are there?
Fire resistance rating of the building elements is different due to the different requirements of the construction . Fire proof door can be divided into Serie A, B and C in terms of fire endurance limit, fire resisting limit are not should be less than 1.20h, 0.90h and 0.60h. That is, if the fire resistance rating is two, also it is possible to use a class a fire door. Hope my answer will help you.
Q:What material is used to make furnace pipe of refractory bricks?
Furnace pipe of refractory brick is an indispensable part of casting cupola. Furnace pipe is divided into upper and lower part. Radial direction and axial breathing. The upper furnace pipe adopts double layer steel structure and countercurrent air supply mode. The lower furnace pipe is made by processing integrated heat resistant steel in flange, fin and inner wall in wearing parts. The operation life is over 3000h. There is radiating rib of heating air on the edge of furnace pipe liner by using the heat of casting cupola to heat air in cupola. Hot air temperature is about 180-250℃, which contributes to improve trhe thermal efficiency of production equipment, decrease production cost and improve economic benefit of enterprises.
