- Q:Me an my friend went into this open construction building an they just had fire extinguishers there no lock or nothing so we sprayed them in there and we got busted. - Q:I have an electric fire alarm system with a battery backup, and the last couple days I've come home from work, all 5 fire alarms are going off (My poor dogs!). I don't know what time of the day they start going off. They aren't chirping or anything, they are going off like the house is on fire. I replaced the batteries a few weeks ago, and right after I put the new batteries in, I turned the breaker off for a minute to reset the system (not sure if it actually does anything or not). My fire alarms also have a thing where you can take the battery out, and hold the test button to totally kill the internal battery. I unplugged each unit, and did the reset on each unit (while the breaker was on though). They are Kidde (FireX) model 4618 if that helps with any diagnosis. Thanks in advance for your time.

- There always are two hoses the one to infront of the radatior is the high pressure side High side for short and the larger diameter hose that gos to the connection near the fire wall across to the evaporator that hose is called the low side hose. Both have flexable rubber parts and metal piping. Be sure you put back the metal brackets. Other wise the vibration will break the new hose at the compressor. Also keep the distributor wires from rubbing on the low side .

- it beeps like that because it is connected to the wiring that goes through the house. Detectors are manufactured to have a small power conduit installed. Once you change the batteries o remove them the beep is more frequent as it is alerting you to the fact that you need to add batteries. Add them then push the test button you should be good.
