Q:What is the point of plastic bags?
I ask myself this question each time I go to the store and have not figured out the answer - I often believe it's partly laziness (people don't want to be in charge of having to bring their own bag; all you have to do is keep them in your car) and part ignorance. I use my own bag every time I go...if you are a recycler you can get a small or medium size trash can and put your recycling in that; it doesn't have to be in a plastic bag. It also depends on if you have a recycling program where you live...luckily the city provides us with a large bin just for recycling. Basically, if everyone would just invest $10 in fabric bags ( organic cotton would be ideal) for their groceries the amount of plastic bags that litter the streets and end up in our oceans would decrease more than one can imagine. Besides, you can use these bags for other things too (overnighters, carrying other goods, beach trips, picnics, etc.
Q:what is the melting point for plastic?
The melting point depends on the type of plastic, of which there are many. Some plastics called thermoset plastics will never melt, but will burn or char instead. One of the more common plastics is polyethylene, although again the temperature will change depending on the grade of polyethylene. So called low-density polyethylene (LDPE) will melt at about 105-115 °C, and is used in many plastic bags. It is already soft. Another common plastic is poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC or uPVC), which melts at 100-260 °C and is used in wire insulation (PVC), pipes and window frames (uPVC). It gets softer above about 80 °C (its glass transition temperature). As a rule of thumb, the harder the plastic, the higher the melting temperature (as long as it isn't thermoset or cross-linked). Heating a polymer above its glass transition temperature but keeping it below its melting temperature will greatly soften the polymer and make it more rubbery.
Q:Hair Straighteners Plastic?
un-plug it first. let it cool. then take a cloth with water and a bit of soap and wipe it over the straightener. Then rinse the cloth so it just has water and wipe it over the straightener to get the soap off. Then get a dry towel and wipe it. Good as new. You've sure got some nice friends :] jk.
Q:what is Forex plastic?

Q:Plastic surgery and Lebanon?
i can tell u Plastic surgeries lebanon are friends. every time lebanon go boom it needs a plastic surgery. poor! that happens often. the people go through plastic surgeries like going to the hairdresser.
Q:Which plastics are safe to burn?
All plastics will release poisonous fumes when burnt. The way the industry does it is by heating it up very slowly to a precise temperature where it starts to turn into a liquid, not a gas. I've used acrylic before to make some cases. Its a hard plastic and can be heated with machines to bend and shape to ones desire. It is always a good idea to use a respirator or be in a well ventilated area because the plastic will give off fumes
Q:How to drease the density of plastic ?
Put the magnet at the centre of the plastic float and try to increase the surface area once you have gotten the best low density plastic material. Try to make it a bit curved. The common error when making floats with plastic is that they make boats that are flat, so try to curve it a bit like a boats bottom.
Q:plastic tubs good for a pacman frog?
Hopefully the plastic tub you are looking at is appropriate in size (if you aren't sure just put yourself in the frogs shoes/webbed toes and ask yourself is this enough room for me?). Personally, I prefer glass only because sometimes I worry about what is in the plastic (hazardous chemicals etc) and because I find that glass is just as easy to clean, although heavier and more expensive so I guess if you wanted a plastic tub just make sure it's big enough. Oh and I also like glass because of it's transparency.
Q:is it safe to chew on plastic?
challenging situation. search on yahoo. that could help!

Agricultural production accounts for more than 80% of the total, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) agricultural output accounted for about 10% of the total film, the remaining 10% for ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) plastic film and other varieties.
