Q:Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX is on low power mode?
Sure you don't have any molex connectors at all? Not even in your DVD drive? If so, get a Y adapter with a good amount of length. If not, then look for an adapter. Be careful as the vast majority are to convert a molex power cable to a SATA power connector, not the other way around. In the worst case you could hook up a separate power supply to it.
Q:my PSU doesnt have a 4 pin power cable!!!?
Just replace the power supply. What's the problem? You have an OLD ATX powersupply with 20-pins. The NEWER ATX power supply is 20+4 pins. --- Kasey C, PC guru since Apple II days Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
Q:Can connecting a PoE powered cable cause a surge?
No, the PoE switch will initiate the connection with a low voltage signal to determine if the device at the other supports PoE or not. If not, it doesn't apply a current.
Q:I have lost my PS4 Power cable?
If it works, I wouldn't think there would be any risk in my opinion. Its probably the same kind of cord.
Q:where can i purchase a power cable for my compaq laptop?
try okorder.com its an excellent site that sells everything from cables to systems and at very good prices
Q:video card upgrade, power cable too short?
If your cable can plug out.. Replace it with longer one.
Q:Can i plug in the power over Ethernet cable into my laptops NIC Card?
It sounds like your ISP is using an Axcelera (I don't remember the exact spelling) radio. The ac power powers the radio over the cable going to the antenna, but that power is separated from the cable going to your computer. It is completely safe.
Q:upside down PSU and SATA power cables?
If the hard metal bit of the hard drive is pointed up, it's in right.
Q:Is power cable of 2.5 sq mm sufficient for 1.5 ton window AC?
You don't mention Kw rating or voltage. You need both these to deermine current. 2.5 sq mm cable will carry 28 amps.
Q:Power supply unit 6 pin question?
Most modern component use SATA power cables. Some older components uses the 4 pin molex connector, and by old I don't mean old really, I mean recent. Even CD/Blu-ray drives are going to SATA power now though =[, so 4 pins may be phased out in the next decade or so. Many modern PSU's come with 4 pin molex connectors, PCI-e X6 pin connectors, and a variety of other connectors you'll need. If you really are worried just check the specifications, it should list all the connectors it has. If you're getting a 850Watt PSU chances are it will have some variation of PCI-E X6 pins, either x6 pin or x6 + 2 (6 + 2 basically functions like a 6 pin and will work just like a 6 pin, so don't freak out about that either). And most modern PSU's will come with plenty of 4 pin molex cables as well. Basically, you should be fine no matter what. And yes, there are 4 pin Molex to 6 pin PCI-e power adapters, normally it takes 2 Molex to power 1 6 pin though.
