Q:The UV lamp is fitted with ozone and no ozone difference
Clean the copper wire to be welded, and dip a little solder paste or rosin before welding.
Q:What am I missing for my NES?
I don't forget playing Dunk Hunt for hours and hours with that gun. Tengen Tetris used to be so much better than the Nintendo version. I still have mine somewhere, together with my NeoGeo, my 3D0, my Sega CD, my Atari Lynx and my Sega Genesis.
Q:what are the 2 cables for on a sata drive?
One cable is the power cable and one is the data cable, just like IDE drives have two cables for the same purpose. You will need to have a 4-pin molex to SATA power cable connector and also a hard drive controller card with a SATA port on it for you to be able to connect the drive. If you don't have both of these, you won'e be able to hook up the drive at all.
Q:Running power cable through the wall from behind my LCD?
Try running a plastic conduit on the face of the wall and paint it the color of the wall instead.
Q:Can I mix different power cables / transformers for different electronics? The plug does fit in.?
yes and no, you need to know what the device wants, you need to know whether its taking ac or dc power, polarity, and amps. amps is more for laptops, other appliances are usually dumber, and will ignore that. On a standard plug, the round one on the opposite end of the wall end, you need to know the polarity, some where on the adapter you should see a symbol like this +C- (now, that's the best I can do with ASCII characters) or backwards, -C+, this tells you whether positive currents(+) and negative currents (-) are on the inside or outside of the plug. you need to match that symbol with the one on your device. Next: on the adapter, it should say somewhere input: 120 V AC output: 12v DC the numbers will probably be different, but the input and output need to match. if your working with laptop adapters, if you didn't buy the adapter specifically for the computer, double check amps too, if your charging like, an mp3 player that uses the trapezoid usb plug off a Motorola Razor wall charger with the same plug, I don't know, I've tried, didn't work well, kind of worked I guess, I wouldn't recommend it.
Q:XBox power cable problem?
My xbox had this problem. What power cable are you using? The original or the new one that Microsoft sent out to everyone? They sent out a new one because some Xbox's were melting the cable and some kid got burned or something. At first they replaced only those customers that say theirs had the problem, then they just sent a new cord out to everyone. Anyway, mine never had the power cord issue but I tossed my original and used the new one. That's when I started having problems. My Xbox would turn itself on in the middle of the night sometimes. It would also turn itself off whenever it felt like it. I couldn't get it to turn back on unless I unplugged the power cord and then plugged it back in. And even then, it would turn on and play fine for about 10-20 minutes and then shut off by itself. Really weird. I simply sold my Xbox, never called Microsoft about it, so I never found out what the problem was. So really, my only advice is, if you're using that new power cord, go back to the old one. I'm positive that swapping those cords was the problem for my Xbox.
Q:where to run a power cable from battery to amp on a 97 oldsmobile cutlass supreme?
Normally, when I do systems, I run it through the hole in the firewall, that was factory drilled for the antenna wire. Unfortunately, I dont think the antenna in this car is located up front, so. People run wires through the door. I personally don't like this, because you can see.. My personal opinion, would be to drill a hole on the passenger side, underneath the dash, and fill the gaps with silicone and run your wires down the side of the door, pushed under the plastic.
Q:Can I push phantom power through a 100' microphone cable?
Absolutely! Currently, we power all of our condenser mics with phantom power through lines that are over 300' long. The power required is miniscule, therefore the current flow to power them is also very small. The voltage drop is what will eventually cause the mic to stop working, but that will require thousands of feet of cable, especially at 48 volts, if that is the rating of your phantom power supply (can be 11 to 48 volts).
Q:Is there a hdd power cable with a MALE 4-pin connector that extends into one female 4 pin connector and one..?
Probably, but most people just buy Molex to SATA power adapters. If you need more Molex 4 pin plugs, just buy some Y splitters. Any computer store worth a darn should have some of both in stock, even the chain ones.
Q:My laptop power cable interferes with my tv?
Electro magnetism over the short term doesn't harm you very much, but i'd be worried about the voltage that's going into your battery because mac products dislike anything that isn't made by a mac certified manufacturer... which is one reason why i NEVER use a mac product... cause they suck =P
