Q:I have a 1994 convertible with a plastic rear window, and it has 13 years of dirtiness on that thing. There is a bunch of ugly what I presume are scratches all across teh middle (probably from the folding process).Also, there are little almost transparent white circles (you have to see them from an angle though)... that are also really annoying.Can you identify what those circles are??I've tried meguire's plastx polish...and even some white vinegar distilled in water.Currently, im looking for a more aggressive product.: In some cases (not all) plastic can be restored using Noxema. Yes skin cleaner. It has stuff in it that gets down into the scratches, and cleans them very well. It has a very mild abrasive in it which will aid in removal of minor scratches. The best part is that you can snag a small amount from a wife, daughter or sister for free and try it to see if it will work on a small area before you go out and buy it yourself. I've never used it on rear convertible windows before, but I have used it on instrument clusters, and stereos with great results.

Q:I saw an online video that we can go to our local home depot etc and buy kits where we use a blow drying and put plastic on the inside of our windows. How much does this really help in saving on energy costs for those of you who know this kind of stuff. Q:...even when washing it? And I live in San Diego, not like in TX where the cling probably would bake into the window. But the windows are tinted, so it would have to be on the outside. The cling is about 6quot; in diameter.: I would think it may stick, but it would probably fall off due to the bumpiness of driving, plus when you wash it, it will make it fall off. Q:How to remove melted plastic from house window?: Heard of a scraper?

Q:I bought a halloween plastic poster of a black cat for a window and it ended up melting to the window, I took as much as I could off but there's quite a it left and the ink also left behind..put rubbing alcohol on it and tried scraping..not the best solution there. Thanks for any easier solutions you may have!: Best way it to use window scraper (used to remove paint from window) try using a hair dryer to warm the plastic first this will help it come off cleanly and make it easier

Q:ok i have a corvette 1986 convertible. The car isn't perfect but i love it. the main problem for me is the rear plastic window. It is brown and is not visible at all to the inside for the outside. I need to know if there is any product out there that can go beyond the cleaning of oxidation. i want the window clear again. Q:I have a plastic windshield that I want to tint, but have run into some problems. I tried getting a tint shop to place a film over it, but the surface was too curved. Is there another method that I can try? Is there any kind of spray or dye? Also, I would like mirror tint. Is that possible?
