- Q:This is a tough one, I know. But it is true cause I have read about this several times. My question is how is it done? is it the bark, resin, the wood the needles? I would really like to know how a tree can produce clear plastic paper.
- probably just cellulose. Like photography film, it's just highly processed plant-cell fibres. I'm also uh, told, uh, that one can find clear smokeable rolling papers made of cellulose as well.
- Q:replace car door windows with plastic windows.how much and where.
- You really need to consult a glazier before doing that. I have a friend who did that on a Volks Wagon Beetle street dragster and he can't keep the windows clean for anything. Most autoglass in the US is DOT regulated to be tempered, so aside from the safety aspect, I'm not sure why you'd want to.
- Q:I own a 323i bmw convertible. I just replaced the top but the back plastic window is already starting to cloud. I was recommended a wax called ziond or something along those lines. It worked the first time but is now turning the window yellow. I dont wish to replace the window so i was wondering if anyone knew an easier option? such as some home remedy to grease it off. idk ive tried everything!thanks!
- it's not too hard. It's the same thing that happens to headlights, condensation gets in and discolors the plastic. Go to your local Advance or NAPA or even sears, just pick up a thing of headlight restorer. All you have to do is rub it on and rub it off five minutes later. It's pretty cheap too, like 12 bucks max. hope this helped

- Take the platic window off and recycle the paper envelope.
- Q:Should I insulate just my single pane windows or my new windows as well? Also should I put the plastic on the inside, outside or both? Thanks.
- Not outside at all Use the wrap on all windows double panes too cuz it all helps here's how tape the double side tape to the moulding of the window not the window itself or wall because the more air space the better here place wrap on the tape secure so no gaps or airspace use hair dryer to shrink use good stuff foam (have nail polish remover and latex gloves) on half inch or bigger gaps around the house and caulk the rest
- Q:I want to tag my boyfriends car, but is there an easy way to get the chalk off the plastic or will it stain it?
- It may or may not stain it. But the chalk will scratch it. So its not a good idea...................md
- Q:The city requires me to separate paper and plastic into two different bins. I have been tearing the plastic windows out of envelopes (you know the kind you get from businesses) before sticking them into the paper bin. Do I even have to do this? And if I do, can I put the plastic window part I rip out into the plastic recycling bin?
- If your city requires you to separate plastic from paper, then separate them, but my city just gives you one recycle bin, so all the recyclables go in one bin, it's easier for us, harder for our city.
- Q:Where can I buy some plastic to put up to my windows for the winter? ?
- Stores like Lowes, Home Depot and hardware, have whole plastic kits to furnish low efficient windows in winter. Just go to the seasonal department and ask one of the associates for. Good luck...!
- Q:will the house retain heat if plastic windows and frames are installed?
- Very little. It is the trapped air inside insulation that makes it work. If the windows and or frames are insulated, then yes. The problem is, the gas used to insulate windows is not a do it yourself thing.
