Q:Considering it sort of a plumbing project... also, if possible, keep it as cost-effective as possible? Is there a particular fitting I need to use? And I want the tube to connect internally (tube is inside fitting) as opposed to externally. Thanks in advance!
You would be looking for a Compression fitting that is suited for plastic tubing. Ask at your hardware store.
Q:What are the different wall thicknesses available for plastic tubes?
The different wall thicknesses available for plastic tubes can vary depending on the specific requirements and applications. Generally, plastic tubes can range from thin-walled with thicknesses as low as 0.5mm, to medium-walled with thicknesses between 1mm to 3mm, and even thick-walled tubes with thicknesses exceeding 3mm. The choice of wall thickness depends on factors such as the intended use, structural requirements, and desired flexibility or rigidity of the tube.
Q:I cant find them online and i need some.
They have two names from what i know of 1. Twice as nice 2. Gator pops hope this helps
Q:What are the different types of connections available for plastic tubes?
There are several types of connections available for plastic tubes, including push-to-connect fittings, compression fittings, barbed fittings, threaded fittings, and solvent cemented joints. Each type of connection offers different advantages and is suitable for specific applications.
Q:What is the difference between rigid and flexible plastic tubes?
The main difference between rigid and flexible plastic tubes lies in their physical properties. Rigid plastic tubes are inflexible and do not easily bend or deform, offering more stability and strength. On the other hand, flexible plastic tubes can easily bend and adapt to different shapes and angles, providing greater versatility and ease of use.
Q:I once saw a tunnel tube part that is just a small flat part with holes in it. It would allow you to connect, say, two cages together and allow the hamsters in those cages to see and smell each other but NOT pass through. I have been looking for this part but I cannot seem to find it again. If anyone has a website, I would appreciate it very much

Q:Can plastic tubes be used for hydraulic systems?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for hydraulic systems. However, it is important to consider the specific requirements of the hydraulic system and choose a plastic material that can withstand the pressure and temperature conditions. Additionally, proper design, installation, and maintenance are crucial to ensure the performance and longevity of the system.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for packaging food products?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for packaging food products. They are commonly used for products like sauces, condiments, and pastes. The plastic used for these tubes is typically food-grade and meets safety regulations. Plastic tubes offer convenience, easy dispensing, and can be sealed to maintain product freshness.
Q:My 98 Stratus 2.4L 4 cyl is dripping clear clean water on the passenger side and has accumulated water in the blower motor area. How can I clean out the drain? Where is the drain?
The drain will be on the passenger side, towards the bottom of the firewall. It should be below the 2 heater hoses that go intot he heater core. On yours, I think it was just a tube coming out of the firewall, it will have a foam gasket around the platic tube. The tube will protrude from the firewall just a little bit. Some have a 90 degree rubber elbow on the end of the tube. If it is just the plastic tube, without the elbow, then use either a wet/dry vac if you have one, or use a wire hanger to poke into the hole and try to remove whatever is blocking the drain. If you don't get it out, it might block it again later, or it might come out with the water. If you have the 90 degree rubber elbow, a quick trick is to squeeze it at the very end and roll it between your fingers to loosen the blockage. If that doesn't work, remove the elbow and clean it out, it will generally have the blockage in it. The elbow should have 2 pieces of wire sticking out, just squeeze these together and slide it off. Might have to give it a twist to get it to come loose. If you get the elbow off and water doesn't come rushing out, then clear the plastic tube, and check the elbow to be sure it isn't clogged.
Q:How do plastic tubes compare to stainless steel tubes in terms of weight?
Plastic tubes typically weigh significantly less than stainless steel tubes.
