Q:where can i get a print out of all the clored tubes and what test is used for each tube for a phlebotomists ?
Blood collection tubes must be drawn in a specific order to avoid cross-contamination of additives between tubes. The recommended order of draw for plastic vacutainer tubes is: First - blood culture bottle or tube (yellow or yellow-black top) Second - coagulation tube (light blue top). If just a routine coagulation assay is the only test ordered, then a single light blue top tube may be drawn. If there is a concern regarding contamination by tissue fluids or thromboplastins, then one may draw a non-additive tube first, and then the light blue top tube. Third - non-additive tube (red top) Last draw - additive tubes in this order: SST (red-gray or gold top). Contains a gel separator and clot activator. Sodium heparin (dark green top) PST (light green top). Contains lithium heparin anticoagulant and a gel separator. EDTA (lavender top) ACDA or ACDB (pale yellow top). Contains acid citrate dextrose. Oxalate/fluoride (light gray top)
Q:would you prefer plastic tubes over metal tubes I'm doing statics so i wanna know ur opnion?
depends on the use and application. would you prefer orange juice or lemon juice ? depends on your taste...... same thing. so it depens on many thing : cost, fluid to flow, medium temp, pressure, humidity, load type and so on .... good luck.
Q:My dip stick broke but i can still see it in the tube, it broke off from the plastic peice.?
try using something magnetic to get it, maybe a small magnet on a piece of string. Sometimes also the dipstick tube can be unscrewed from the block..
Q:replacing fuel filler neck with jy replace it has 2 smaller tubes that change to plastic that are cut off 3
my answer is try to check it out on auto repair shop..dude
Q:What glue can I use to glue the plastic in toothpaste tubes, potato chip bags etc?
I use E-6000 clear glue for almost everything. I am a sewer and needed some weights so I used this glue on huge metal washers putting two of them together for more weight. I have had these weights for quite a few years. The trick to this glue is to let is set. According to the label is it flexible, paintable, non-flammable, waterproof, safe for photographs, etc. I would suggest not using this in an enclosed area for any length of time. Good luck - Hope that helps.
Q:Will the bigger breed of hamsters fit in a tube cage?
Syrian hamsters, the larger breed of hamster, can outgrow the tubes and get stuck. Dwarf hamsters are better suited for those types of cages. If you're interested in a syrian hamster, a large, basic wire cage is probably a good idea. A bin cage is also a good cage to have for hamsters.
Q:where is the best place to go to buy a plastic tube (the kind you store items in?
Do you mean the clear plastic tubes you put a floor plan and information in when you are selling a house? You can find them at Home Depot or Lowe's with the for sale signs. Other than that one, I know of no other type.
Q:How to Calculate Airflow from Aquarium Tubing and Pump?
Well, I suppose it could be done, but you would need the pressure at each hole, which is decreasing as the tube length and water depth. And you have so many variables! I also like to calculate such things as you are doing, but this is really over the top! Here is what I would do; Get a measured paper cup (say 1 cup, or 1/4 litre). Experiment with various sizes and number of holes in your tubing, then hold the cup over the coiled tubing, under water at required depth, with air pump running. Measure the time to fill the inverted cup with air. If a 1/4 litre container fills with air in 15 seconds (1/4 minute), you know you are getting 1 litre per minute. Then try other hole configurations to get what you want. This would be more fun, more practical, and will give bettter results. Good luck Bill
Q:EXACTLY WHERE AT THE MOUTH OF A PLASTIC TUBE DOES THE PRESSURE NODE FORM? (Dealing with standing waves in air)?
Level with the open end. Pressure nodes form where there are displacement antinodes and displacement nodes form where there are pressure antinodes If you look at the diagram, this will be clear.
Q:Eustachian tube disorder!!! pls help!!!?
