Q:Another video card and power supply cabling question?
Okay, right off the bat I see a problem with that power supply. Aside from not having a pci-e connection it states it doesn't work with SLI or Crossfire (i.e. Nvidia or ATI). Since you're wanting to get a GeForce card, which works with a mobo with an Nvidia chipset, you'd need a more up-to-date power supply. Second - that card uses 18 amps on the 12-volt rail, and according to the specs on that power supply it runs up to 16 or 17 amps, so the power supply you're looking at isn't powerful enough to support the card. My advice - first make sure your mobo has an Nvidia Chipset. Second, spend a bit more and get a better power supply, and check the voltage - you need at least 18 amps on the 12-volt for that card.
Q:What cables do I need for this graphics card?
You don't need any power cables. The board gets power from the mother board. You need a PCI-Express slot on your mother board. If you're asking about video cables to the monitor, it says in the listing... Interfaces 2 x DVI-I - 29 pin combined DVI , 1 x HDMI - 19 pin HDMI Type A , 2 x DisplayPort - Apple mini-DisplayPort You only need one of these unless you are running more than 1 monitor. I would look on your monitor and see what connections you have. (2) DVI-1 is common is older stuff, (1) HDMI is the newest technology and common for HDTV, (2) Apple ports for Apple enabled monitors.
Q:What power cable to I need for my new internal hard drive?
Internal Hard Drive Power Cable
Q:Power boost cable?
It is simply a 2nd USB for power alone, it does not use both USBs to transfer files, just one, the 2nd is just for additional power to improve the performance of the hard disk
Q:Help in English:do these expressions have exactly the same meaning?
A cable is usually thicker than a cord. When I hear power cable, I tend to think of industrial machinery.
Q:my laptop restarts when i connect my power cable?
go in control panel and set ur laptop settings to not to start while swith in
Q:Question about replacing the power supply?
Hi, There is often a plastic clip holding the connection in place, check for that first then pull gently as they are not normally that tight. Arnak
Q:Need info about transfering data through power cables!?
No it is not possible to transfer the data through power cables, Ask what you actually want to do i will solve your problem.
Q:I just bought a 47inch LCD 1080p flat panel T.V. I bought nothing extra for it what else do i need?
cable or direct TV you need a new converter box. I have cable and it is $5 a month more. Lady at work has Direct TV adn the box is $100 a year more. It has many more cable connections to the back to the Tv and does improve the quality and picture. Power strip option. You can but I do not..... Good luck.
Q:when selecting muticore power cable the current rating of conductor in cosidered individually or total 3 cores?
Current ratings for conductors are based on several factors including conductor type (Copper, Aluminum, other), insulation material (thermoplastic, rubber, asbestos composition), ambient temperature, length, exposure to weather, and numerous other factors stipulated by the NEC or local Code. The ratings are usually given for a single conductor in free air. Mulitiple current carrying conductors which share a conduit, raceway, or any other enclosure must be derated appropriately.
