(Clear plastic sheeting; large solid sheets that watersoluble paint will peel off of.)I would think the same thing tupperware is made of (polypropylene), but cannot find it in flat clear sheets. Does anyone know what the clear painters pallettes are made of (melamine?) and if it is sold in sheets to the public? I have been trying to put a finger on this for over 2 years--any help or leads out there?thanx
- Glass is good. Prepare the surface with a undiluted liquid soap wash and let that dry. Across that you do a quick layer of medium or any color you want. Quick is the key as you don't want to mix it with the soap to much. Let it all dry and do your thing. It isn't the read-made solution you were looking for but this works very well.

- Lexan is available at homedepot and lowes, and the low grade stuff is pretty darn cheap. It comes in several types, i'm sure you don't need to super strong stuff. Alternatively, you can try a craft store like Micaels, A.C Moore, etc (assuming you live in the US).
