Q:I want to install a floating cork flooring but I have read the floating floor is not advise for the bathroom. Any advice.
Cork flooring is very cool looking. I'm not sure about the FLOATING cork floor but I know that the self stick cork tiles(12x12x3/16) are very durable and work well in a bathroom. This would need luan underlayment and would obviously not last as long as ceramic tile. I think it would be a viable alternative to a cheap ugly vinly flooring. My friend is an architect and he has had it in his bathroom and kitchen for 7 years now. Still looks great!
Q:I bought lamanited flooring, the gentlemen that sold it to me said it was easy to install. I've done tile before so I believed him. I spend close to $400. worth. I ruin some planks because I tried to glue it. Anyway I would like to hire someone to do it, if not how can I do it myself. I know part of the problem is the floor is not even.
You need to identify the area(s) that are not level. Mark those areas with a glass marking pencil. Use thinset cement to level the area(s). If you have not used thinset cement before, I suggest having a mason do it. And by all means, do not try to glue any laminate flooring.
Q:What is good for wood floor wrapping
Color aluminum is better, simply said that the aluminum alloy with a grain of color, and good with the floor, solid wood of the income side of the real, expensive, too thick, too thick side, a bit ugly, not wearable! plastic. Morse's on the skin care can be umpice musty Ge Xuegong grinding is not considered. Rubbish
Q:How to swap the slide floor into another template
If it is 07 version of the direct point of the top of the page above the design, you can pay attention to the blessing of the Phoenix and then good to sleep to see the different floor, and if it is 03 version, right click on the slide, there will be set background, click Into the design can be.
Q:I'd like to know as the question states the average height of an office building 50 stories tall, from ground floor floor to the roof. TY :)
A 50 floor office building will always have a basement for parking or if not, it will be having a podium which might be around 4 to 5 levels. The ground floor also should be higher than the typical floor. Say: 1. Ground floor averages around 4.5 to 6m level 2. Podium averages from 3.1 to 4m level 3. Typical floors from 2.7 to 3.1m level Hence: GF = 4.5 Podium 3.1 x 5 = 15.5m typical floors = 2.7 x 44 = 138.8m say 140m from the Ground floor level (minimum)
Q:Tare out old floor and toilet and and llay the tile how much
It depends what area of the country you are in to figure labor, and what type of floor is existing. I am in the south (Texas - cheap labor) and I pay $60 for a toilet/removal and install, $2.50 per s.f. on the tile install and depending on the existing floor it should be another $60-$120 or so. I would guess labor to be around $350-$450, excluding materials.
Q:1. Name 2 rules used in the game of Floor Hockey?2. Name 3 skills (not fitness related) needed to play Floor Hockey?3. Name 1-2 strategies needed to be successful in a game of Floor Hockey?
try ice hockey, it is WAAAY better. but you can look up the rules online. good luck!
Q:I play floor hockey in a gym recreationally. What is the difference between floor and field hockey?
floor hockey uses sticks that are verymuch like ice hockey sticks. Field hockey is a sport with a curved stick, and is played more aggressively then floor hockey. Also, in floor hockey I'm pretty sure you wear more pads, am i right? In fieldhockey you wear goggles and shin guards. Field hockey is played indoor and outdoor, and ages 8 and up have to have goalies. Hope this answers your quetion!!!
Q:and is it a good view from floor seats
$450-1,200 depending on where you're watching it from and what event it is. House shows are much cheaper.
Q:I installed a floating floor and it seems that water can penetrate between the seems. how could I seal these?
Buff the floor with a floor buffer that has a white pad and a 220 grit sanding screen on the bottom. Then seal the floor with a sanding sealer, then follow that up with a coating of floor finish. I suggest Bona traffic floor finish.
