No you cannot. You must place the generator outside the building and for that you need management or HOA approval.

There is no exact formula. Each engine is unique and the manufacturer has a fuel consumption chart for each engine. It is usually in BTU's per horsepower hour or the metric equivalent. It all has to do with engine efficiency and fuel heating value. See below:

By the revolutions of the generator, or the (presuming AC output) frequency of the power generated. If the frequency is low, the revolutions are low. If the revolutions drop off when load is added, or frequency falls, you have a problem. somewhere.

Q:I am trying to use a marine deep cycle battery and power inverter to power a chest freezer in an ice cream truck. The issue is that the marine battery will drain in a few hours. I was told told that I could connect the inverter to the car battery as well as the marine battery and while the engine is running, the car battery would be charge the marine battery through the inverter. Can anyone tell me how this works and how I should do the wiring?thanks

It will work but you need a battery charger as well, hook the inverter to the vehicles battery, then pulg the charger into the inverter, and then have the charger hooked to the marine battery. Why not just get a small generator or a 110v freezer and run it directly off the inverter or generator? You can plumb the generator into the fuel tank of the truck so you don't have to worry about filling the generator. If the truck is diesel get a diesel generator, gas for gas.

Q:I have a bunch of old diesel left over from y2k, a family friend stored 10k gallons and its turned a brown color, it dosent small funny at least to me, still looks red if you put it up to the light but it is not vivid red like it used to be it has a dingy brown color.
