Q:What's an alternative for bench press?
You can do dumbell presses, which gives you a better stretch and a harder contraction. Incline dumbell presses which work the upper pecs. Push-ups flat on the floor or with you feet on a chair to hit the chest from a different angle. There are so many different combos for chest. I hope this helped Darrick CEO Valentine Fitness
Q:How to obtain a press pass?
Sierra, unless you are already very talented...no one will entertain your desire for a press pass. At an event there is a lot that goes on in the background...the last thing anyone needs is an inexperienced photographer getting in the way. Every teenager dreams of what you are asking...the reality is that photography isn't as glamorous as you imagine...it's hard graft. For a press pass you would be expected to have a complete understanding of photography techniques...it would also help if you had some evidence to support your experience...like student ID...an evening or weekend class in photography would be a great place to start...this helps you meet people that can guide you towards the best route for your goals...camera clubs and photography groups are also a great source of advice and experience...great for building contacts that might be useful in the future. If you want to learn how to photograph concerts or gigs then keep your eyes and ears open for local community events and use these for practice...my reasoning for this is...it helps you realise exactly what goes on in the background to support an event...if you can manage to pull off some decent shots it helps build a portfolio at the same time...if you can't get the shots you dream about then you wouldn't manage to get them at one of your idols concerts either...and you might want to consider your next scheme. If you are determined to go in this direction then ask one of your teachers to help you with your approach and contact a local community newspaper to ask if there would be any chance you could shadow one of their photographers...even a church newsletter is worthwhile experience if it uses your images...you need to start somewhere...not many 15 year olds start with getting a press pass.
Q:press charges/ accuse / convict/ drop charges?
if a person is 'accused' that person is not really 'proved' as guilty right? Right. A person who has been officially charged with a crime but has not yet been tried is commonly called the accused. At the trial he will be either acquitted or convicted. what about convicted and charge? I'm not sure what you're asking. A charge is an official accusation. A conviction is the decision by a judge or jury that the accused is in fact guilty of what was charged. and I was wondering what drop/ press charges mean Once someone has been charged, the prosecutor can elect to withdraw the charge (or drop it) rather than proceed to trial. This usually happens because there is not enough evidence for trial, or new evidence comes up which shows the accused is not guilty of the charge. To press charges is to make a formal accusation, particularly for someone who has been wronged to make a formal complaint against another person. Thanks in advance!
Q:What is pressed powder?
Pressed powder is found in a compact with a sponge, whereas loose powder would be used with a brush. It normally gets used to blot oilyness on the face or to set ur makeup.
Q:why is it important to press seams in a certain direction when making quilts?
When piecing, the first rule is to press toward the darkest block/strip so the seams do not show through on the lightest block/strip. You can also alternate the directions by row so the seams nest, or you can press the seams open, which gives the flattest finish and is the easiest to quilt through.
Q:What went wrong with my leaf pressing?
Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).
Q:What to do with pressed flowers?
Smell them and enjoy
Q:How much do you think I should bench press?
I would start out with 15 reps 1 set 30 inch wide grip, with the bare bar, and add 5 pounds every workout. I would recommend a spotter when the weight starts to feel on the heavy side at rep 15. After about 4 to 8 weeks you can change your reps and sets. I make changes to mine every 8 weeks.
Q:How long is a wwe press conference?
hmm well press confrences vary in time..i've been to one that was only about an hour and a half..but then there's been some that have last 2 hours..if i were you i would go anyways just to be safe because it might still be going on when you get there.. Have a good time. STARRED
Q:Bench Press difficulties?
Well first off it could be from any number of things, now you say you have been lifting for years so im sure you know that the tricep is the secondary muscle when benching, however depending on how wide your grip is, and what the position of your arms are at the bottom of the press can put more strain on muscles other than your chest and tris, therefore your biceps could be called in to the press, ask someone to watch you and when let them know when the pain starts, is most intense, and when it starts to go away throughout the rep. then try moving around your grip and and relying on stricter form and have them watch you again and see if the point of pain changes, lessens, or increases. None the less you should talk to a sports injury specialist, NOT YOUR GENERAL PHYSICIAN, nothing against them, but those that are in the sports medicine field study specifically that.
