Q:does this density are same for all type of steel? re : 7850kg/cu.m?
90% of the steels used today are plain mild carbon steels consisting of iron with less than 1% carbon content and as such have a density of about 7750 kg/cubic meter. Some special steels which have a significant percentage of alloying elements such as chrome or manganese or other elements will have greater density bringing the steel up to about 8000 kg / cubic meter. There are a greater many factors influencing the exact density of a steel. Even for steels of exactly the same content of iron , carbon and other alloying elements, there may be a difference ( very small mind you ) in density due to work hardening. The difference in this case is due to movement of dislocations which become locked in the grain boundaries and this forms a more dense crystal structure. For this same reason, the theoretical density of steel (which does not take into account dislocations) is greater than the measured density of steel.
Q:can i play flamenco on steel string guitar?
I routinely play Flamenco on a steel-string acoustic as I dislike playing my two classicals because of the neck size and tuning problems. I prefer keeping my calluses toughened sufficiently and I do that on my HD-35 Martin and sometimes on my J45/50 Gibson. So enjoy all genres of music on your steel stringed guitar.
Q:Lyrics to steel driving man?
Q:Where are the coils and the steel plates used? Where did the steel plate come from?
Steel plate is divided into many kinds of PU, low alloy, boiler plate, vessel plate, high strength plate, etc..
Q:Steel Building Structures?
Solid Steel Buildings, Inc. is an all encompassing Steel Building Solution provider.  Our methodology will provide you with a low cost steel building with the highest possible quality.
Q:Can you use steel strings on a classical guitar?
Everyone The treble strings are steel, but are gauged so that they are at a lower tension than the treble strings on a western acoustic. The bass strings in Martin Silk Steel have a silk based core, and a metal wrap wire (just like in normal classical guitar strings), which again keeps the tension in the strings lower than its steel based cousins. The Martin Silk and Steel will give you a more western acoustic sound, but it won't be exactly the same as a western acoustic guitar.
Q:what is difference between high carbon steel blade for katana swords?
The guy below me obviously has no idea WTF he's talking about. It does NOT have anything to do with the edge angle at which the blade is sharpened. It does NOT have to do with heat treating. Both of these things are important, but they won't determine the type of steel. I'll try to help. 1095 is one of the best performing steels, against carbon steel or stainless steel, in the world. It's incredibly hard, holds its edge well and comes to a beautiful edge when sharpened correctly. As you know though, carbon steels need to be properly maintained to avoid rust/corrosion. Out of the steels you listed I'll give a brief summary of each steel... -1095 (Great all around steel, but is brittle by comparison to the others. This doesn't mean it will chip easily, but the other steels can take more of a beating. That being said, this is going to take a nicer edge, and hold it longer.) -1080 (A little bit more flexible and less liable to chip than 1095. A good compromise between edge retention/quality and ruggedness. -1065 (Commonly used in machetes and other heavy duty bush tools. Takes a decent utility edge and is highly unlikely to chip) -1060 1045 (Both extremely flexible and soft in comparison to 1095. Unlikely to chip, but it takes a crude edge. This edge will cut, but not like 1095 will.) Go with 1095. My favorite knife I own is in 1095 and serves me well everytime I head off into the woods. Keep some Rem-Oil on that bad boy though.
Q:Is it me or is everything steel in pro wrestling?
Lex Luger's right elbow... OH YESH!!!! I SEE WERE YOU ARE GOING WITH THIS!!!
Q:For those metal experts out there, steel or stainless steel.?
S/S. We use clam rakes around here, I think they have a S/S basket with steel teeth to dig into the sand. By the way, I believe S/S is just steel with nickel added, but I could be wrong.
