Q:Aluminized Steel same with Stainless Steel 409 & 430?
Alloy steel is a stainless steel. The differences between the two are the composition of the metal. Alloy steel is steel with usually less than 5% of other elements, like molybdenum, copper, chrome while stainless steel is a steel with at least 10-11% of chromium.
Q:Maple Story Steel Polearm?
you can buy it at the free market, but they worth more than 150k they sell for about 1m so good luck with getting polearm.
Q:Stainless steel kitchen sink cleaning and polish?
Lowe's has a stainless steel cleaner/ works great!!
Q:can jb weld fix steel applications?
Not a chance. Stresses that are strong enough to crack solid steel would snap JB weld like a matchstick! JB is NOT a substitute for actual welding. Steel is more than 20 times stronger; or in other words, JB is 20 times weaker than the steel in your chair. JB is good for applications where the parts to be joined aren't constantly going to be under stress. For wood or plastics it works OK, for steel, not so much. Your best bet is to take the chair to a professional welding shop. If they want to charge you more than $15-$20; go somewhere else, they could weld that in less than a minute.
Q:What metals is surgical stainless steel made of?
um surgical stainless steel? lets try ... stainless steel... herp derp
Q:Components of Steel?
mainly steel made of Iron and carbon and treated in a proper process to become hard you can add some kind of other elements to get your desired proparty as Chromium,, nickle.. Cupper,, Berelyium,, Vanadium
Q:why would you clean metal with steel wood?
Steel wood? I don't think there is such a thing?
Q:Why is steel a stiff material?
To say that steel can be bent and shaped fairly easily isn't quite true. It takes multiple tons of force to do so, requiring some very heavy machinery. I think you're confusing a couple of concepts. For example the idea of elastic modulus, versus rigidity Rigidity is the ability of a structure to resist a load. That depends not only on the elastic modulus, but on the size and design of the structure or object. You can build fairly rigid structures out of wood. For example roller coasters. Even though wood has a much lower elastic modulus than steel, meaning that it takes much less force to bend and deform a given sample of wood.
Q:How would you encase steel in concrete?
OK, here is my take on it Take equal lengths of steel wire, one is going to bare, one is going to be encased You will need a tension rig, simply this will be one fixed end and one end you can hang a weight down. For the test you will affix one end and string it between to supports with one end hanging off, which is where you will put the weight. The put a ruler where the weight is, so as the weight pulls the wire down (after it is hot) you can time the stretching. lastly you need a place to put a controlled fire under the wire, I'd reccommend something tame like a camping stove OK, got a test rig and two pieces and a way to test. You'll have to play with different fires and weights to see what works best Putting the concrete on the wire is a tricky one since you don't want the concrete to take the load. Get a tub or dish of approriate size and put some wet concrete in it, partway up. Take one of the wires and coat it with wax or something like it that is soft. Place the wire, with the ends sticking out, in the concrete tub and pour more on to cover it. Let this whole thing harden. You might want to have a specific shape to the tub so it comes out a certain size Now, you have an uncoated wire and an coated one. Be careful you don't pull the wire out of the concrete Another way to do this would be to use joing compound, which is a type of mortor (cement). You can buy it a home depot or such. Mix it up as thick as possible and just cake it on the wire and let harden. You can shape the coating using saran wrap or something maybe. I my world we call this stuff monster mud, its used to shape things for Halloween props like robes into figures. Its quite sturdy when done When you are ready to test just hook each part up with the same fire and weight and take readings of stretch vs. time
Q:keeping a stainless steel stove clean and shiney?
How grimy is your range? I actually have a stainless range and all I do is discover a soapy sponge on it, with dish cleansing soap. I get rid of each and all of the knobs and burners approximately as quickly as a week (and every time I fry something and splatter oil everywhere, yet i attempt to disguise issues with foil as quickly as I fry to sidestep a multitude). It takes possibly 5 minutes to scrub my range because I shop it clean and not in any respect, ever use it if it has spills on it. i've got found out via the years to wipe issues up right now, or the spills get baked on and become very confusing to get rid of. My range is electrical powered, so I take off the electrical powered burners and gently wash those with a soapy sponge too (I carry them and rub the soapy sponge on them, then carry them below the faucet to rinse, without getting the plug in factor section moist). My range continues to be very clean this way, and that i take advantage of the rougher side of a non-scratch sponge for something that desires some scrubbing. in the experience that your range has undesirable stains caught on it, you ought to use very, very advantageous metallic wool on it. An SOS pad will paintings, do in basic terms no longer rub too problematic or you will take off the shine from the range. SOS pads are ok on each and all of the immaculate areas of the range. whilst completed washing it, take a humid dish towel and wipe each and all of the cleansing soap off, then dry the range and it will seem large.
