Q:i plan on getting a syrain hamster are critter trail cages safe for them with tubes?
Hello, It would be smarter if you didn't use that kind of cage. The plastic tubes fall apart and it's not very safe or secure for the hamster. A Syrian hamster Shouldn't get stuck, but you never know. I perfer to use aquariums with wire lids. They work amazing. Or else get a plastic storage container (square bucket thing) and drill holes into the sides and roof. (don't put the holes to big or close together; cage may crack or hamster may get out). I'm not fond or the critter trail cages, especially those with plastic tubes. I Hope this Helps!
Q:what do you call the plastic tubes used for pet water bottles, and where can you find them?
rubber tubes? you can find them at any pet supply store.
Q:Which kind of inner tube is better for river tubing, a rubber truck inner tube or a PVC plastic one?
definitely the rubber ones the plastic ones will scratch your inner arm cause the seem is right in the middle
Q:What is the difference between rigid and rigid and semi rigid in electric PVC plastic pipes?
PVC plastic pipes can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. Among them, hard PVC accounted for about 2/3 of the market, soft PVC accounted for 1/3. Soft PVC is generally used on the floor, ceiling and leather surface, but because soft PVC contains softener (which is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), it is easy to brittle and difficult to preserve, so its range of application is limited.
Q:i have a top fin 30 filter, and i was wondering should bubbles be coming out of the clear plastic tube?
Alex, If you have a Top Fin filter which you hang on the outside of your tank while the tube is inside the tank, then no you shouldn't be seeing bubbles. You could have connected the extension tube incorrectly into the energizer well. Try removing it and replacing it again. This should allow the intake tube to pull water up and through the filter. You probably already know this - but remember to add water to the top of your filter so the filter will begin operating correctly. If you still have problems, go through your instruction booklet again...:) (Nosoop4u has a great suggestion as well..) Have a good day!
Q:I'm looking for a straw dispenser, just the top, not the plastic tube around it. Anyone know where to find??
off the counter at Mcdonalds
Q:Where can i buy flexible plastic tubing od 2mm?
A place that has aquarium supplies
Q:Does anyone use a low dead volume or v bottomed test tube?
That's an unusual question. MANY years ago (50 or so) when we used to run a lot of pregnancy tests by utilizing Leopard Frogs, we used to use V-bottomed test tubes to spin down the sediment. Frankly, that's pretty much the only example I can remember where we used them. But I would think that they are still around. I would suggest you contact a laboratory supply house or two or three, and ask them. They are much more likely to be able to give you an answer than us geeks on the Yahoo medicine board. The stuff I used 50 years ago might not be around anymore.
Q:What's the transparent plastic pipe in the aquarium? A black plug is plugged in. Do you want the water in the pipe?
Don't let the water out. That's the Venturi air inlet. The pump runs to keep the water up.
Q:Ear Tubes?!?!?!?!?
I never had tubes, but my son did. They are tiny plastic tubes that your ears will push out over time as they grow. You will not feel them at all, and if you want to swim, you just have to put some swimmer's ear plugs in, which you can buy at the drug store to seal your ears shut. My son used that and he swam all the time with no problems. You'll be fine!
