Q:I need to buy a great vacuum/steam cleaner for my home carpets. I do not want to have to take out a mortgage to buy it, either! Please help me from your own personal experience!
The okorder for $219 (shipping included.) The Eureka was $148 at Sears'.
Q:Why did God make men with British and Australian accents so good at selling vacuum cleaners on American TV?
They excel at selling blenders and car wax as well
Q:I was thinking of getting one of those as seen on TV, I am an allergy sufferer and need the most efficient to get rid of the dust mites, bacteria etc..
We had a rainbow vacuum when I was a kid. I really liked it. It wasnt heavy, and the dirt stayed in the water, not back into the air like most vacuums today. It finally died after about 20 years of use. Good Luck finding a vacuum today to last that long. I havent used a rainbow in years, but it was a great vacuum. I would love to have one now, but just cant afford it. You should see if there are any places that will let you use it on a 7 day or 30 day trial. Just to see for yourself if it works well.
Q:With Mother's Day around the corner I thought I'd ask something we all can use. There seems to be this idea floating around that many women don't like to receive things like vacuum cleaners, irons, etc. and would rather recieve something more sentimental in value. Men, on the other hand, love receiving tools and things that they can use to do things with. Most of the women in my family like getting things they can use like a vacuum cleaner or something to cook with, so I have to wonder if that thought is really true. So women, if you received a vacuum cleaner or some similar gift, would you be offended by it? If you would be, why? Is it implying that you are the homemaker because you're a woman?
I would be more than happy to receive a vacuum cleaner for mothers day if it was something that I needed. Being that I just purchased a new vacuum, it wouldn't really be great this year, but next year, an upgrade would be nice. Now, if the question was would I prefer to receive a vacuum cleaner for mothers day...... I would probably prefer a video camera, or a nice piece of jewelry, but I would not be offended or disappointed if a received any gift that was functional and thoughtful.
Q:Just in case the power goes out, I would like to still be able to see where I am vacuuming.Anyone know a vacuum that has an inbuilt light that you would recommend? I know KIRBY make one, but they are very expensive.I am hoping for one at say less than $150 if possible.
most oreck ones have built in lights but price wise run slightly high maybe look for used ones
Q:I mean money. Our company pay based on how many clients we sign. The top sales persons can sign 3 person per day on average. And that is $40 Australian dollars per sign. On my first day, I signed one customer successfully, but my boss told me that he had a problem with my working attitude. Now let's do that maths, we work 10 hours per day, and if we sign 3 people, that is $120/ 10 hours, that is $12/hour. If we are not lucky, (just like my quot;bosson that day), we could only sign 2 people, then it's $80/ 10 hours, that is $8 per hour. To compare, the a waiter in China town earns $8 per hour. And if I am not lucky, I can only sign one person, that is $4 per hour.I am not very happy with the pay and the quot;bossis having problem with my working attitude --- he wants me to work harder. Well I am currently in uni, let's be realistic, can I find a job with better pay than this? Should I leave the job or not?I have to reply to my boss if I want the job or not by tonight. Thanks
As somebody else suggested, find yourself another job, and then quit. But, if you tell your boss you want to keep the job, then be careful if he gets you to sign anything that says you agree to stick with the company for a period of time. If you get given something like that, then I would say you should turn it down. As far as I can see, you are being paid only per sale, not per hour, so instead of working 10 hours/day, I suggest working until you get your first customer, then spend the rest of the day looking for other jobs. Your boss might want you to work harder, but he's not offering you any incentive to do so, so don't.
Q:How to repair the vibration lever of vacuum cleaner?
If the brush has worn off, replace the brush. If the end cap, flange or casing is damaged, it also needs replacing. Replace the whole vibration lever if necessary
Q:I'm not to fond of loud vacuum cleaners and neither is my cat so I'm looking for a vacuum cleaner that doesn't make to much noise. Anyone know of one?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Are there any really quiet vacuum cleaners? I'm not to fond of loud vacuum cleaners and neither is my cat so I'm looking for a vacuum cleaner that doesn't make to much noise. Anyone know of one?
Q:Which do you own more of?
1 vacuum and 1 broom and 1 mop
Q:What are the best vacuum cleaners on the market today? I've heard good things about the Dyson, how bout you?
I bought a Dyson DC15 Animal in March. Upon opening the shipping box I was terribly disappointed in the quality of the plastic used. Very soft and flimsy material everywhere. I contemplated at that point bringing it back to the store, but decided to give it a try. The noise is somewhat unsettling. My kids and wife did not like the high pitched sounds it made. Motor and exhaust sound levels are quite high. Despite the claims of easy stair cleaning, I found it quite clumsy. The mini turbine head is air powered, not electric, and has very little power for real cleaning. Its speed dropped considerably when applied to the carpet. It looks and sounds great while held up to watch, but its functionality is poor. The flexible plastic hose is flimsy and appears very low quality. I started vacuuming a small area of floor about 4 feet square. The canister filled quite quickly and needed to be emptied. It needed emptying a few more times after cleaning the entire upper floor. Next cleaning was the same, as well as the time after that. Clearly my carpet isn't that dirty! The canister was filling not with dirt, but with carpet fiber. I was literally vacuuming up my carpet. The DC15 was returned to the store for refund. After the hype and optimism I was terribly disappointed. I'm back to looking for a replacement for my 35 year old Electrolux.
