Q:So, yesterday I went to a bargain store and I found a Memorex MiniMove Boombox for iPod for 15$ because it didn't come with a DC cable. It has a battery function but it will only charge my iPod if its plugged in. I've been browsing OKorder for a DC IN 6v power cord like it calls for, but I was just wondering if there's anything else I need to be aware of before I consider buying one. Everything else works great, but I really need a charger as well as the stereo because my mom broke my last one and now it work play anything relating to my iPod when its plugged in but that was the only alarm clock I had. Thanks!
Hard to say for sure. Your best bet is to go to the Memorex site and see if you can download the user manual that will have the full specs for the power cord. Then you can match everything.
Q:How long is the service life of the cable?
For corrosive environments, cable trays with suitable corrosion resistant coatings should be used
Q:I need power cables for my sony laptop
Go search online or maybe buy at your local computer shop :)
Q:high effency double shielded transmission power cable?
What is your question? Does such a cable exist? Probably but you'll have to be more specific. High efficiency = low loss or low resistance per foot? Double shielded = is the shielding (in dB) critical? Transmission = What frequency, 60 Hz, 1 MHz, 100 MHz, ? Power = Watts, KW, MW Is weight or cost important?
Q:So i found a old monitor but cant find the power cable what cable do i need?
web page is not available
Q:i have a 2001 corolla with a new amplifier. when they wanted to test the amp after all wiring was done, they somehow wired the amps power cable to my negative connection on the battery. i turned on the electrics on the car and they all work. then i tried starting it, and how the engine wont start and the lights dim when im turning the key. what happened? and how can i fix this major screw up???
That means your Amplifier is connected directly to the battery -ve.Then both should work. What is the power level of Battery? If old there is a possibility of full discharge. Dim lights, are an indication of discharged battery. If discharged,re-charge it before next trial. If battery is in good charged condition, starter will work. (Otherwise,Check for any mistakes.Reinstate the connection).
Q:My laptop battery ran out because my power cable broke. I need to take out my files before I get it repaired. Is there a way I can charge my laptop? (HP Pavilion Entertainment)
Sounds like you just have to buy a new cable.
Q:Today I was using my pc, it was running awfully slow so I restarted and it kept flashing quot;Power cable has not been attached to your video cardquot;. So I turned it off and flicked the master switch on the back of the pc and sure enough it turned on. But it was all low resolution and said no ati driver is installed. I reinstalled all the ATI files and drivers and restarted and the same error message came up. I then flicked the switch on the back and it booted up. I have also checked the Hardware manager and it says for the Graphics card quot; Can not start (error 10)quot;. So what I think is that the pSU is not supplying enough power to the graphics card, so the pc switches to iGP, I have a funny fealing it's the PSU, not the GPU...
Well, just to be sure, check out this site and examine the capacitors on your motherboard (esp. around the video card slot), on the video card itself, and the ones that you can see inside the PSU. I think that you will find one or more that are bulging...
Q:I purchased a LCD TV the other day and ran a cable line to it (via crawl space). I had to use a splitter to connect the new TV. I connected the cable directly to the TV and then the power cable to the outlet which “popped” and the power went out (breaker trips). I connect the TV power cable to a surge protector and the power goes out again (surge protector wasn’t even on). So I disconnect the cable from the tv and connect the power. Everything is fine until I try and connect the cable...let’s just say the spark was bright and hot enough to melt part of the connector on the TV! So I return the TV and get a different brand and the same thing happens when I plug it into a surge protector. To begin narrowing out possible problems I connect the cable to a regular 10 year old TV with no problems. It is a brand new cable with no cuts or fraying. Any suggestions?
Something is seriously wrong, and you may need to get an electrician on the problem. You need to check the voltage between your set and the cable with a meter. There should be little or no measurable voltage. If you are getting a reading like 115 volts, then I suspect that the wall outlet into which your TV is plugged has been wired backwards, i.e. the black wire is on the white terminal, and vice-versa. The cable is (or should be) grounded where it comes into the house, but if the outlet has the hot wire on the wrong side, this might cause the problem you described. The wrong connection could have occurred anywhere along the line between your main panel and the outlet, so this may involve checking the connections at several outlets and light fixtures - whatever is on the same circuit as your TV's outlet.
